Euljiro 3-ga pasta restaurant after a Gyeongbokgung walk: Pyu Euljiro
In short
Pyu Euljiro is a pasta and risotto dining restaurant on Mareunnae-ro, near Euljiro 3-ga Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. After a weekend walk around Gyeongbokgung Palace, the writer walked over and ordered the bisque pasta, garden tomato risotto and a bergamot ade, and the rich shrimp flavor of the bisque pasta under its champagne foam was the most memorable part. For anyone deciding where to eat after strolling Gyeongbokgung or Jongno, Pyu Euljiro is a fitting stop.

Hi, this is Honchel :) Last weekend I went for a walk around Gyeongbokgung for the first time in a while 🥰 I wanted a light stroll plus something delicious to eat, and while looking around I found Pyu Euljiro!
After enjoying my walk at Gyeongbokgung, I moved over toward Euljiro for a meal. The vibe was relaxed and the pasta and risotto were both delicious, so it was a great pick for a weekend date or a Seoul outing course 🫶🏻
Where is Pyu Euljiro, and what are its hours and parking?
Pyu Euljiro is located at 27 Mareunnae-ro, 1st Floor, Unit 102, Jung-gu, Seoul, and it's open daily from 11:00 to 21:00, with last order at 20:20.

The entrance is visible right from outside the building, so I think first-time visitors could find it fairly easily. The clean exterior also caught my eye as I was walking by 🥰

The exterior of the restaurant was more spacious and pleasant than I expected, which made a great first impression 👏🏻 It had a relaxed, open feel with no sense of being cramped, so I could walk in comfortably :)

Inside Pyu Euljiro: atmosphere and table setting
The inside of Pyu Euljiro really felt upscale. Being a proper dining restaurant, the sophisticated interior stood out, and everything was kept clean and tidy overall, which I liked even more :)

There was a flower pot on the big bar table that was so pretty I had to take a photo 🥰 It added a subtle accent that made the space feel even more elegant and bright, haha.

They had a card on the table with my reservation name written out by hand, and I could feel the attention to detail. It gave me a good impression right from the moment I sat down :)

The spoon, fork, and knife were all neatly arranged, and the water was set out cleanly too :) Every part of the table setting was so tidy that it put me in a good mood even before the food arrived!

What we ordered at Pyu Euljiro: bisque pasta, garden tomato risotto and bergamot ade
✔️ Bisque pasta & garden tomato risotto & bergamot ade

Bisque pasta: the foam on top is champagne foam
The bisque pasta, they said, is a rich shrimp-sauce pasta topped with champagne foam to bring in a deep ocean aroma! When the dish first arrived I wasn't sure what the foam on top was, but the staff kindly explained it was champagne foam, haha.

The distinct shrimp sauce came through rich and bold, and eating it with the noodles gave it great umami, haha. If you love the deep flavor of seafood or shrimp, I think you'd really enjoy this one :)

Garden tomato risotto at Pyu Euljiro
Next was the garden tomato risotto, a dish where the natural flavor of tomato really came through, haha. Ordering it alongside the pasta meant we got to enjoy two very different flavors, and the pairing worked well.

Bergamot ade
We also had the bergamot ade for our drink, and it had a subtle sparkle that I really liked. It had a refreshing quality that paired well with the meal :)

It was also nicely tangy, which went well with the food 👏🏻
Why Pyu Euljiro suits a Gyeongbokgung and Jongno walking course
If you want to spend a weekend day slowly walking from Gyeongbokgung through Jongno and into Euljiro, Pyu Euljiro is a great place to pair with that! The bisque pasta in particular, with its striking shrimp flavor, was personally the most memorable dish for me 🫶🏻
We ordered pasta, risotto, and an ade together and had a leisurely meal — the food was clean-tasting and the atmosphere relaxed, so it was easy to visit without any pressure 😆 If you're strolling around Gyeongbokgung or Jongno this weekend and wondering where to eat, you might enjoy pasta and risotto at this Euljiro favorite, Pyu Euljiro ❤️
