Euljiro3-ga lunch with fresh fruit juices and mackerel pasta: Pyu

Where is Pyu Euljiro, and is there parking?

Pyu Euljiro is located at 27 Mareunnae-ro, 1F 102, Jung-gu, Seoul, and it's open daily from 11:00 to 21:00, with last order at 20:20. Parking is tough in a lot of places around the Euljiro commercial district, but here you can park without any stress. Just search 'Tower107' or 'Pyu' in your navigation.

It's near Euljiro3-ga Station, on the first floor of a really clean office building.

White wood interior: does Pyu Euljiro work for a blind date?

The moment you walk into Pyu Euljiro, the white-toned wood interior catches your eye right away. Linen sheer curtains hang softly over the windows, and the warm-toned lighting made the atmosphere really nice.

By the bar seats there's a marble-patterned island, and beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows you can even see a small garden, which made it feel even cozier.

There's also a glass display case with plants on the wall, which added a nice design touch. Overall it was so clean and modern that I'd highly recommend it as a blind date spot.

Since I had made a reservation, there was even a welcome card waiting for us, which made me happy. If you're looking for a blind date restaurant around Euljiro, a place like this can really score you points!

What the signature mackerel pasta tastes like

Let's start with the mackerel pasta. It's the signature dish, so I was curious and had to order it.

The mackerel on top of the pasta was so soft and savory that mixing it with the arugula and pasta gave an explosion of umami — it was really delicious.

My friend and I literally clapped while eating it hahahaha. There's whole black pepper in it too, so there's a slightly spicy finish, and it honestly felt like the best pasta I'd had in a long time.

Grilled yuzu chicken thigh, 28,000 won

The grilled yuzu chicken thigh (gomtang, glossy Korean chicken dish with citrusy yuzu sauce) had crispy skin that paired really well with the tangy yuzu sauce. The visuals were great too! Eating food like this on a blind date lifts the mood and the atmosphere, doesn't it?

In particular, the pickled onion and pickled gungchae (a leafy vegetable pickle) on top went really well with it. This is a place in Euljiro with both great food and great atmosphere, so I'd highly recommend it for a blind date or a regular date.

Apple-carrot and Shine Muscat fresh fruit juices

Can't leave out the drinks either — both the apple carrot juice and the Shine Muscat juice tasted like real fruit juice with zero syrupy sweetness. They sat somewhere between healthy and delicious, which made them even better.
