The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a sleek interior that had us gasping.

The overall mood was calm yet luxurious, which felt perfect for a cozy date with my husband! 💖 It also looked like they had baby chairs ready for families with kids!! Just ask a staff member if you need one.

There's especially a private lounge space set apart on one side, and I got the impression it would be perfect to reserve for anniversaries or other special occasions at this Hwaseong restaurant. 🎉

What comes with the welcome tea and lunch set?

As soon as we sat down, a staff member kindly brought us a welcome drink. A pretty pink welcome tea made with apple, omija (five-flavor berry), and lemon came out together with a clean-tasting heotgae-su (hovenia sap tea), so it felt like we were being properly treated from the start. 🍹

Since we visited during lunch hours with my husband, we were able to order the full lunch set! The set comes with pizza, pasta, a daily salad, and two drinks, so both the value and the composition were great. ✨

You order by looking at the menu on the tablet, and we went for the calamari cream pasta, the Margherita pizza, and two cold sodas for our drinks — a really hearty spread!!

The Margherita came topped with basil pesto and balsamic. One bite in, the deep fragrance of the basil pesto, the chewy dough, the fresh tomato sauce, and the sweet-and-tangy balsamic came together perfectly — the savory flavor absolutely exploded! 🌿

Next came the calamari cream pasta, which had a little kick hidden in the sauce!! Aged kimchi was subtly mixed in, keeping the creaminess intact while cleanly cutting through the finish. 🍝

Thanks to that, there was zero greasiness, making it a flavor pretty much anyone would like without exception, and the subtle balance let us enjoy it deliciously all the way to the last bite without ever feeling heavy. Plus the chewy texture of the squid added to the fun of eating it~🦑

The green salad served alongside had fresh vegetables, tomatoes, and ricotta cheese, and it did a great job of refreshing our palates in between bites~
