Han River picnic tent rental in Mapo: Picnic List Mangwon

After this year's sweltering summer, the weather gradually started to ease up, and I really wanted to go on a picnic. So I looked around and rented a tent and lots of items from Picnic List Mangwon (피크닉리스트 망원), right in front of Mangwon Hangang Park ☺️

Picnic List Mangwon location and access

It is a 4-minute walk from the Mangwon Reservoir · Mapo Community Sports Center bus stop, or a 20-minute walk from Exit 2 of Mangwon Station. Hours are 11:00–22:00 daily.

Rental shop exterior right by Mangwon Hangang Park

This is the Mangwon branch of Picnic List! You really only have to cross one crosswalk to get straight to Mangwon Hangang Park, so the access was amazing ☺️ You can end up renting a lot more than just a tent or picnic mat, and it is exhausting if the return point is too far away 😖 This was a huge advantage of Picnic List Mangwon 💗

A shop with everything from picnic mats to electric fly swatters

Here is the inside of the shop! When I visited, it was operating unattended, and there were picnic mats, tents, sun shades, all kinds of board games, soccer balls, basketballs, party supplies, fans, electric fly swatters, power banks, mood lights, and so on… There were so many pretty, cute little items too 💗 When you have a picnic in weather like this, there are lots of mosquitoes and other bugs, so having electric fly swatters available was such a nice touch!! ☺️ The owner's attention to detail 👏🏻👍🏻

How does the self-service rental work?

Since it runs on a self-service system, I worried that it might be complicated or difficult, but the instructions were detailed, so there was nothing to worry about! Fill out the rental information by QR code, pay, and head straight out for your picnic!!! 💗 So simple and easy, right? 🕺🏻

Three-item combo set and extra rentals

It had been such a long time since my last picnic that I got unnecessarily excited and thought, if I am doing this, let’s do it properly! So I added lots of cute extras to the three-item combo set haha 🤗 There is also a review event where you can rent one of a tripod, mood light, or bubbles for free when you write a review, so keep that in mind and definitely join in!! ⭐️⭐️ There are truly so many items and they are such good value, so if you are going on a picnic anyway, I hope you enjoy it properly 💗

A weekday picnic at Mangwon Hangang Park

With all of that packed up, we headed to Mangwon Hangang Park haha. Since it was a weekday, there were fewer people and it was so, so relaxing 💗 We found a nice-looking spot and set everything up—totally ready for Instagram-worthy shots!!! 😍

You can lie down and rest in the tent like this, or lean back in the backrest chair and look at the lovely green scenery, and your heart just feels so warm… 💗 There are lots of cafés at the front of the park too, so I recommend picking up a drink to bring along haha.

You can even see a sunset this beautiful! 💗 You have to go for a picnic at Mangwon Hangang Park, right?? Rent your picnic mat from Picnic List~!! 🫶🏻

Ordering delicious delivery food at Hangang Park is essential!! Chicken and mala xiang guo (spicy dry pot) together… 💗 Happiness is not far away 🤩👏🏻
