What kind of restaurant is Ttukbang, near the Daegu FC stadium?

I was trying to figure out where to go for meat in Daegu, and this time I went to Ttukbang, famous as a meat restaurant in Goseong-dong, Daegu. It's near the Daegu FC stadium, so it's also a great spot to stop for a meal after watching a match.

We love hunting down good makchang and samgyeopsal spots, so we had to visit!! Best of all, it's close to the stadium, making it the perfect place to eat on match days >< And since parking is supported, visiting by car isn't a burden at all.

This is the entrance to Ttukbang, a well-known spot in Goseong-dong. Even on a weekday there were so many customers ㅠ we almost had to wait haha.

Ttukbang's stadium parking support and self-serve bar

Ttukbang is great because they support parking! They cover the stadium parking lot that we often use. It's free from 8pm anyway, but this time there was a fee and they covered it too .. love that there's parking here.

They have a self-serve bar too hahaha. Even on weekdays it was nearly full — this place already seems famous. There's coffee too haha. If you take a photo for a mirror story and post it, they raffle off meal vouchers. Little events like this are so nice~~

Ordering samgyeopsal and makchang together at Ttukbang

Put our bags down and dove into the menu. As soon as we sat down we ordered samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) and makchang (grilled beef intestines) without hesitation! It's a shame to eat just one kind of meat. Ordering samgyeopsal and makchang together is truth. It's a meat restaurant, but having jajang egg rice on the menu is a nice touch too~~

The side dishes came out first, including kimchijeon (kimchi pancake), which was honey-sweet haha.

With the review event you get jajang egg rice, and the egg custard came free the first time! Extra is ₩2,000!!

Since we ordered makchang, they gave us makjang (dipping sauce) too.

Staff grill the samgyeopsal, you grill the makchang

Started grilling the samgyeopsal. The staff grilled it beautifully golden brown. So savory haha. I planned to grill the makchang after finishing the samgyeopsal, but the staff grilled the samgyeopsal for us and we grilled the makchang ourselves!!

After the samgyeopsal, we started grilling the makchang separately. It was also very easy to grill. Once golden brown it just melted in your mouth haha.

Finishing with jajang egg rice and doenjang stew

I was too curious about the jajang egg rice not to order it haha. Rice and stew are essential when eating meat~~ Honestly, that day we ate without any regrets haha. Of everything, the jajang egg rice really stuck with me! It put Chinese restaurant jajangbap to shame. The egg and jajang sauce blended together and paired so well with the meat, and apparently they use the same jajang sauce that actual Chinese restaurants use haha. There's always a reason it's delicious..

My sibling ate the jajang egg rice while my mom and I had rice with doenjang stew haha. As a Korean, you can't finish a meat meal without rice and doenjang stew. Had a proper meal haha. The doenjang stew was spicy and really delicious.

Is Ttukbang worth it after a Daegu FC match?

We walked out really full. Samgyeopsal, makchang, and jajang egg rice on top — totally recommended menu! Ttukbang is even better because it's near the Daegu FC stadium, and it's the perfect spot to grab a meal after coming from a match, so I'll be coming back after games next time too haha.

It's great to eat before the match, and just as good to eat and chat about the game — or have a drink — afterward. I visit meat restaurants all over Daegu, but I think Ttukbang will be the one that comes to mind for meat in Goseong-dong~~!!

The restrooms were clean too, and we finished off with a coffee from the self-serve bar to cleanse our palate after all that meat. Ah, why does meat never get old no matter how much you eat it ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Where should I try next~~
