If you like baguette bread, you probably already know this place. After finishing the Ground Seesaw exhibition, I always used to head straight to Tim Hortons wondering where to go next — I had no idea there was a spot like this in the basement!

First, the seats are really wide and comfortable. It's a space that works well whether you're alone, with one other person, or in a group of four. Since there are offices upstairs, a lot of people came in with their employee badges still on — honestly, I was so jealous of them.

Ordering is simple, just use the kiosk. Even though it's a café, it's known for its sandwich baguettes, so a lot of people were picking up takeout too.

True to a Seoul Station brunch spot, they sell a wide range of baguette sandwiches and coffee.

I'd already eaten before coming, but they sell so many kinds of sandwiches that it would make a great meal on its own, and interestingly, they also sell soda drinks like cola and cider that go well with a sandwich. If I'd known there was this much variety, I would have come here for lunch from the start!! They also have fig matcha baguette and fig pistachio baguette as fall season menu items. I'm so sad that I'm allergic to figs and can't try them.

Maybe that's why there were a lot of solo diners too, but I couldn't stop staring at this choco baguette displayed right in the middle of the store, so I ordered the choco choco baguette — chocolate on top of chocolate.

The tables aren't low either, so no craning your neck like a crane. Comfortable table height and chairs with backrests made it a space I could relax in without any trouble. Cafés with backrests are so rare these days, I was so, so grateful.

What does the takeout packaging look like?

My order came out ~!! I had somewhere to rush off to that day, so I ordered it to go. This is what the packaging looks like — it's nice enough that it'd be great as a gift or to bring along when meeting friends.

The package design alone is insane. Of course the drinks and the baguettes are delicious, but I really love a place that puts this much care into every single little café item.... it's so pretty.

Iced oat milk latte, 6,500 won

Iced oat milk latte, ₩6,500. Since it's made with oat milk, it's a comfortable option for anyone lactose intolerant or vegan. I love that distinctive nutty flavor oat lattes have, so whenever a café lets you swap to oat milk I always do — and it was so nice that this place sells it as the default.

Choco choco baguette, 12,900 won: the choco tofu cream cheese

Choco choco baguette, ₩12,900. Light and not too sweet, but packed full of chocolate chips! It's sandwiched with a choco tofu cream cheese made with a generous amount of cocoa powder.

At first I thought, what even is choco tofu cream cheese? But one bite in, it's seriously like tofu cream cheese. You'll understand once you try it — the soft choco cream just wraps around your mouth completely. I saved half and ate it cold at home once I got back, and it turned into a total pudding, like tofu. The soft, rich choco cream combined with the crunchy choco-chip-packed baguette is genuinely the best chocolate baguette I've had. I hope the whole world finds out about the choco choco baguette.

It's a quiet, comfortable space that's great for taking a break, so I recommend Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station, a Seoul Station brunch spot.
