In short

Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong is a chicken paitan ramen restaurant on Bulgwangcheon-gil near Saejeol Station in Eunpyeong, Seoul. I was looking for ramen around Bulgwangcheon near Saejeol Station when I found Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong. It's at 366 Bulgwangcheon-gil, a ramen spot brimming with Bulgwangcheon vibes haha.

Is there a wait at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong at 2pm on a weekday?

I visited Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong on a weekday at 2pm and there was no wait at all. Even so, customers kept coming in one after another?! Truly an Eunpyeong-gu favorite... But since ramen is the main menu, turnover is fast, so even if there is a wait, it seems like you'd get seated quickly haha!

The menu: tori paitan or karaipaitan, both 13,000 won

Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong's menu has exactly two options, tori paitan and karai paitan, both ₩13,000. I ordered the karai paitan ramen!! It's pleasantly spicy, so if you're craving something hot, go for the karai paitan! If you're in the mood for something mild and savory instead, I recommend the tori paitan, the chicken broth ramen haha.

For reference, ordering is done easily through the kiosk!

Bar counter or table seats: solo diners and groups both fit

Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong has dachi bar seats for solo diners and table seats for family groups too! The space is fairly generous compared to most ramen shops, so feel free to visit however you like!

Chopsticks and pickled radish set out at the bar seats

At the dachi bar seats, chopsticks and pickled radish were set out neatly. And here's a thoughtful touch⭐️ hair ties are provided too! We need to slurp our ramen properly, and stray hair getting in the way just won't do haha.

Since it's an open kitchen, I could see how spotless the kitchen was from the bar seats✌️ Watching them wash their hands thoroughly and keep everything clean throughout the cooking process gave me a lot of trust haha.

As they poured the pale, savory chicken broth to prepare the piping hot ramen, I was doing my own preparations too haha. Pouring my cola😍 Another thing I loved about Oreno Ramen! They serve the drink in a big highball glass packed to the brim with ice!! Isn't that exactly the kind of summer touch you want⭐️

Karaipaitan with a soft-boiled egg and tsukune chashu

What I ordered was karai paitan + extra soft-boiled egg + extra tsukune chashu + cola! Whenever I eat Japanese ramen, I always add this soft-boiled egg!! That distinctive ramen egg flavor you can never make at home🤍 It was delicious at Oreno Ramen too.

There were plenty of wood ear mushrooms in it too, and the broth wasn't very spicy, just refreshingly balanced, so I think even people who can't handle spice could try it easily haha. The tsukune chashu was a type of chashu I'd never had before, and it was quite savory! If you like enjoying various toppings with your ramen, I'd recommend following the combo I ordered haha!

Oh, one handy tip about Oreno Ramen: extra noodles, rice, and kimchi are all free refills, just ask a staff member✌️✌️

Where to park at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong
