I found this place while looking for somewhere in Yeonnam-dong with both good vibes and good food, and it turned out great for dates too — I've already been back several times. The first thing I ordered was the chicken tender Caesar salad! I like Caesar salad and I like chicken tenders, so I figured I'd give it a try. I expected a light side dish since it's a 'salad,' but with chicken tenders piled on top, it was surprisingly filling.

Crispy fried chicken tenders come together with fresh vegetables and Caesar dressing, and the dressing isn't overpowering, so it's easy to eat without feeling weighed down. The cheese on top especially had a nutty, savory flavor that I loved. I usually get sick of salads quickly when the sauce is too strong, but this one was just savory and salty enough that I kept going back for more.

The jambon butter cheddar pasta is the dish I've enjoyed most at Hey Joji! The salty flavor of jambon, the nutty richness of butter, and the deep taste of cheddar cheese come together for an overall thick, rich flavor.

That said, since it's loaded with cheese and butter, it can get a bit rich if you eat it continuously. That's when you take a bite of that Caesar salad from earlier haha.

The food also isn't the kind of heavy, weighty meal — it's comfortable, tasty American comfort food that's easy to enjoy on a date. Most of all, I've already visited multiple times, and every single time I've left having eaten well — that's the biggest plus.
