Osan hanjeongsik with parking for 100 cars and nurungji: Bomseol
In short
Bomseol Main Branch is a large hanjeongsik (Korean set meal) restaurant on Oesammi-ro in Osan, Gyeonggi. On a day when the change of season left the writer run down, they ordered the Bomseol table set, poured hot water into the stone pot to finish with nurungji (toasted rice crust tea), and went back for yeolmu barley bibimbap at the first-floor self-serve bar. With parking for more than 100 vehicles including tour buses, Bomseol works for both family meals and large group gatherings.

These days, with the seasons changing, both body and mind seem to droop more than usual. On a day when I felt worse than normal, I wanted a warm, hearty meal instead of anything too spicy or heavy, so I visited a hanjeongsik (traditional Korean set meal) restaurant. It felt like the kind of neat, proper hanjeongsik place you'd save for a special occasion, but honestly it's great for family meals, gatherings, work dinners, or group meals of any kind.
Parking at Bomseol Main Branch: room for 100 cars and tour buses

Parking is always a worry when driving to a restaurant, but Bomseol Main Branch has such a spacious lot that you don't need to stress about it at all.

It has a huge lot with room for over 100 vehicles, including tour buses. Since tour buses can park here too, it seems like a great stop to add to a sightseeing route. It'd also be handy for families arriving in multiple cars or for gatherings.

The restaurant itself is pretty large too. The first floor has lots of tables plus a self-serve bar, and I heard the second floor has a standalone banquet hall for group reservations and events. The third floor is made up of private rooms, which seems great for smaller gatherings or family meals. The rooms can hold anywhere from 6 to 12 people, and group seating accommodates 20 to 50 people, so I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot for a gathering.
What comes with the Bomseol table set

I had the Bomseol table set, which comes with a base spread of stone-pot rice, salad, japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), and fried items, plus a main dish — a truly hearty full table. There were so many side dishes and dishes that the table practically groaned under the weight, and it was seriously filling.

The base spread includes healthy side dishes made fresh every morning, along with warm stone-pot rice and hearty cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew).

The main dishes were stir-fried pork and braised pollock, and wow, they were genuinely so good. The whole spread felt solid and generous — like being properly taken care of.

It was great to be able to eat a bit of everything — starting light with salad, then moving on to japchae, fried items, various side dishes, and finally the hearty main course.
Stone-pot rice and nurungji on an off day

Everything else was delicious, but what I loved most was getting to enjoy piping hot stone-pot rice along with warm nurungji (crispy scorched rice). Since it was that in-between-seasons slump, my body wasn't in great shape, but eating something warm made me feel like I was loosening up. Freshly served hot rice was already satisfying, but being in a stone pot made it even better. After scooping out most of the rice, if you pour hot water over the crispy rice crust left at the bottom, you get to enjoy that nutty nurungji too — it really was the perfect meal.
The first-floor yeolmu barley bibimbap self-serve bar

Bomseol Main Branch has a self-serve bar on the first floor.

There's a corner where you can enjoy unlimited yeolmu barley bibimbap (young radish greens mixed rice), so you can eat even more if you're still hungry.

Adding yeolmu greens to barley rice and mixing it all up — how could that not be delicious?!

After a full hanjeongsik table, you might not have room left for bibimbap too, but it's genuinely so good that I'd recommend trying at least one bowl.
Is Bomseol good for family meals and group gatherings?

Given its size, Bomseol Main Branch works well for all kinds of occasions. It's comfortable for a casual family meal, and just as good as a venue for work dinners or larger group gatherings.

The second-floor banquet hall can also be booked for group reservations, private events, first-birthday celebrations (dol), and more. The third floor's private rooms would be great for anniversaries or hosting guests. If you need a group reservation for 50 or more people, it's worth checking with the restaurant in advance.

If you're near Osan and want a hearty hanjeongsik spread, remember Bomseol Main Branch!

You can genuinely eat until you're stuffed on really good food.
