One friend coming from Gwanak, one from Suwon, and one just off work in Sangdo... so where's the best meeting spot? Isu Station!

This time I'm sharing a 🍕 pizza spot near Isu Station that's great for a friends' meetup in Seoul. Raymond Isu Branch is perfect for pizza and beer at lunch near Sadang/Isu Station, and we three ordered the incredibly good-value Raymond Set.

Raymond Isu Branch is at 33 Dongjakdae-ro 23-gil, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, a 1–2 minute walk from Exit 9 of Isu Station. It's open daily from 11:30 to 23:00, and there's a restroom inside.

A place with really huge American-style pizzas! A great bar to recommend for a friends' meetup, perfect for pizza and beer starting at lunch. It's super close to Isu Station. Amazing accessibility 👍🏻

Inside Raymond Isu Branch: interior and the self-service bar

The inside of Raymond Isu Branch has a strong American diner feel and there are group tables too. Personally, I think the floor tiles are super charming. 😎

There's a well-stocked self-service bar, so beyond the basic plates and forks set at the table, you can grab whatever extra you need.

Eating as a group of three? Order the Raymond Set

The Raymond Set is Raymond Isu Branch's signature 2–4 person menu, and I highly recommend it if you're a group of three friends. It comes with a variety of pizzas plus chicken, fries and sausage — a really satisfying, good-value combo.

Raymond Isu Branch is a great pizza spot for beer and pizza, with a variety of high-quality American-style pizzas. Also recommended for two people who are really hungry (the portions are huge!). Hungry couples on a date in Isu — head to Raymond!

There are plenty of other menu items too. Mac and cheese chicken, cheongyang mayo chicken (spicy mayo chicken)... I was curious about all of them but held back. Next time I'll come back with friends and order them! 🤤

Raymond's beer lineup: pizza and beer from 11:30am

Raymond Isu Branch has a great variety of beers. Vienna lager, wheat beer, IPA, blueberry sour ale, porter and more — all great with pizza. Bring on the pizza and beer~~!

What I liked most was being able to order the size you want, and each option comes with a description of the beer. Such detailed beer descriptions... the best!! 👍🏻😁👍🏻 The three of us each read through and ordered to our own taste. Picking beers was fun in itself~~

What comes in the Raymond Set, and how big are the four pizza slices?

Wait, it's a set and there's only 4 slices of pizza? 👀 Nope! The slices are massively huge haha. All three of us kept gasping at how overwhelming the pizza size was...

We were pretty stunned by the size at first, but it ended up being genuinely satisfying. Honestly plenty for three of us to share! And it's not just big — loaded with toppings and crispy, so the texture is great too. 🍕😋👍🏻

The garlic dipping sauce is love...!! Scraped every last bit off the crust too (the dough is delicious 😘)

The chicken, sausage and fries were all delicious too. And the Raymond Set came with a good variety of sauces, which I really appreciated.

The three 665ml beers the group ordered at Raymond Isu Branch

In order, we ordered Belgian witbier / peanut butter porter ale / pilsner lager (665ml each). All three were on Raymond's recommended list, and personally I highly recommend the peanut butter porter ale! The aroma alone is amazing... definitely order it and feel the impact 😊
