Yeouido fireworks festival izakaya, sashimi set: Robadayakki Sodam
In short
Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch is a room-type izakaya in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, a handy stop before or after the Yeouido fireworks festival. We booked ahead, arrived at opening and ordered the Sashimi & Assorted Skewer Set with a Peach Tree highball, and the sashimi was sliced from a live fish at the datchi counter only after the order went in. With private rooms and a parking lot right in front, Robadayakki Sodam stays comfortable even on the crowded fireworks day.

Anyone waiting on the 2026 Yeouido fireworks festival? It's today!

For a room-type izakaya worth visiting before or after the Yeouido fireworks festival, you have to try Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch.

Why Robadayakki Sodam works before the Yeouido fireworks festival
Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch even has a parking lot right in front, so it's easy for people who drive. Since the fireworks start at 8pm, a lot of people head out early to stake out a spot, but I came to the izakaya to fill up before the show.
If a good viewing spot matters to you, they stay open after the festival too, so watch the whole thing and drop by afterward!

Honestly, every time this festival happens the crowds are insane, traffic gets bad, and getting jostled around sounded uncomfortable, so I went back and forth on whether to even go to Yeouido today. Luckily the weather had cooled down a lot and felt breezy, and there wasn't really anything to make me irritable.

I made a reservation and did an opening run at Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch, and other guests kept streaming in until the place got busy fast.

The space is well divided overall, and most of it is set up as private rooms, which made mealtime really comfortable.

If you'd rather eat somewhere with a decent vibe and not too chaotic or loud, I fully recommend Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch!
Private room seating at this Yeouido izakaya
Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch has its space divided really well.

Walking in, there's a semi-open, somewhat private area and a datchi space, and going further in, most of it turns into room-type seating. So even when the place is packed, you can still eat comfortably without feeling crowded.

The interior is really pretty too, and the AC is blasting so it's super cool inside.

There's a restroom inside the restaurant too, and it's fairly clean.
Sashimi & Assorted Skewer Set: the best-value order

I ordered the good-value Sashimi & Assorted Skewer Set along with a sweet Peach Tree Highball.
The set menu is cheaper than ordering sashimi and skewers separately, so it's great value.

Honestly, assorted skewer plates often disappoint, so I went back and forth between this and other menu items, but the assortment here wasn't bad at all.
Each skewer had its own distinct flavor and charm, so I really enjoyed eating them.

Sashimi sliced from a live fish after ordering
The sashimi selection was solid too. Once I placed the order, they went and grabbed a fish that had been on display at the datchi counter — and it was still flopping alive?!

It was genuinely fresh sashimi, cut right after being caught. A bite of sashimi, a bite of skewer, a sip of highball — I spent a relaxed evening.

Peach Tree highball comes with two shots
The highball was really sweet and delicious, so you have to be careful — if you keep sipping it, you can suddenly find yourself really drunk.

It comes with two shots as standard, and you can add more.
Even the complimentary fried egg was good
The fried egg that came out as a service item was really tasty too.

They give you a fried egg per person, and the yolk was a nicely runny medium and lightly salted. The bottom was browned and had that crispy texture too — top notch.

Everything I ate at Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch was delicious, and the staff were kind too, which I loved. It would be a shame to head straight home after watching the Yeouido fireworks today, so make sure to stop by Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch!
