Food court cake shop in Suwon: blueberry fruit slice to go, Café Diaz

I went to Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo, the place that always comes to mind when I think of cake in Gwanggyo :) I honestly think it's the best fresh fruit cake spot among Gwanggyo cafés! Not many cake places pile on as much fresh fruit as Café Diaz does, so whenever I'm craving cake, I end up buying it here.

Where is Café Diaz in Galleria Gwanggyo? B1 food court

Café Diaz Gwanggyo is located on the basement 1st floor food court of Galleria Gwanggyo department store, near the Gstem Flower shop. Both the drinks and the fresh fruit cakes are delicious, so I often stop by after shopping at Galleria Gwanggyo for dessert and coffee.

Café Diaz only uses seasonal fresh fruit — never frozen — plus dairy whipped cream and domestic eggs, so it's a Gwanggyo cake spot I trust for quality ingredients.

The coffee drinks are all delicious too, so grabbing a slice of cake and coffee to go is the perfect combo! The signature cream latte and nut cream latte especially are always great — I find myself craving them from time to time.

With good ingredients and generous amounts of seasonal fresh fruit, Café Diaz's cakes work well as a snack for kids and also as a birthday cake for adults. After shopping at Galleria Gwanggyo, I often stop by Café Diaz to get a drink and a slice to go and eat at the food court seating — I think it's the top spot in Gwanggyo for fresh fruit desserts.

Café Diaz's fresh fruit whipped cream cakes, loaded with seasonal fruit, are so delicious and satisfying every time! The fruit whipped cream cake, topped generously with all kinds of seasonal fruit, is also a signature menu item. As you can see in the photo, the fresh fruit is piled on so generously that there's more fruit than cake — it's impossible for it not to taste good, haha.

The fig whipped cream cake, topped with lots of seasonal figs, also seemed like a popular menu item these days! It's not too sweet, so you get to really enjoy the seasonal figs — I thought older adults especially would love it :) The slice cake was priced in the low ₩10,000s.

I really love peaches, and Café Diaz's fresh fruit peach cake, with peaches practically spilling off the top, looked absolutely amazing, haha. If you love peaches like me, this peach fresh fruit cake is a must-try!

How the blueberry slice cake tasted, eaten to go

I got the blueberry slice cake topped with fresh blueberries to go, and it was packed with sweet-tart blueberries that made it delicious — the whipped cream wasn't too sweet either, just right. The dairy whipped cream really did feel cleaner and more flavorful. The blueberries were fresh and juicy too, and with that sweet-tart flavor, I ended up finishing it all, haha.

Spoonable fruit cups for gifts and group orders

The spoonable fruit cup is a mini cake piled high with all kinds of fruit, and it looked great for simple gift-giving. It's good for return gifts, or for buying desserts as a company or group order — Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo really is a top Gwanggyo cake spot for that. Not too sweet, loaded with fresh fruit, and clean-tasting — Café Diaz is the best for this kind of dessert!

Birthday cakes: whole fruit cream cakes in the high 40,000 won range

The fresh fruit whipped cream whole cake, priced in the high ₩40,000s, seemed perfect to buy as a celebration cake for family birthdays or friends' birthday parties.

They also sell a variety of birthday party supplies, so it'd be great to pick those up along with a cake when throwing a party!

I packed up coffee, lemonade, and the blueberry slice cake to go, and both the drinks and the cake left me satisfied — this Gwanggyo cake spot, Café Diaz, is a Gwanggyo café I really recommend!
