It had been a while since I wandered around Seongsu checking out pop-ups and just walking around on a date. Naturally, lunch turned into a craving for a good handmade burger.
I love shrimp, so when I heard there was a place near Seongsu Station famous for whole-shrimp burgers, I headed straight there. This time I visited bd Burger Seongsu Station Yeonmujang-gil Lunch & Dinner.
From crispy shrimp patties to burgers piled high with grilled shrimp, I got to enjoy shrimp in two completely different ways. With a weekday lunch discount on top, it turned out to be a great-value Seongsu Station burger spot.
Where is bd Burger Seongsu, and what are the hours and parking?
bd Burger Seongsu Station Yeonmujang-gil Lunch & Dinner is located at 7 Seongsu-iro 14-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, 2nd floor, about 5 minutes' walk from Exit 3 of Seongsu Station. It's open daily from 11:30 to 21:00, last order at 20:30, with no on-site parking or parking fee support.

Walking from Exit 3 toward Daelim Changgo and Musinsa Megastore, you'll find it easily. It's a great spot for lunch or dinner after shopping and strolling around Yeonmujang-gil or the Seongsu cafe street.
If you're driving, you can use the paid parking at Musinsa Megastore Seongsu (62 Seongsu-iro, Seongdong-gu, basement level). Just keep in mind you'll pay for parking separately.

The restaurant is on the second floor, and burger photos lining the stairway got me excited before I even walked in.
The restroom was midway up the stairs, outside the restaurant itself — accessible only to customers via keycard, which I appreciated.
Weekday lunch is 3,000 won off per set — until what time?
bd Burger Seongsu's weekday lunch discount runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., taking ₩3,000 off each set. Order two sets and you save ₩6,000 total.

We arrived around 12:50 p.m. on a weekday. Signage about the weekday lunch set greeted us on the way up, and we'd timed it right for the discount.
The shop describes itself as balancing good ingredients with reasonable prices, and this lunch lineup really caught my eye. It's a great option if you're out exploring food in Seongsu and want a filling lunch.
We sat down around 12:56 p.m. With 1 p.m. closing in, we quickly ordered via the tablet at the table. If you're planning to use the lunch discount, it's worth giving yourself a bit more buffer time.
Inside bd Burger Seongsu: seating and the self-bar
bd Burger Seongsu has 7 tables for two and 1 table for four, plus 3 more two-seaters around the corner. Looking in from the entrance, the bussing station and self-bar are on the left, the kitchen and pickup zone on the right.

Stepping inside, the vibe was really hip — a great fit for a date and a meal together.

The self-bar setup especially stood out. Ketchup, hot sauce, wet wipes, forks and knives, small plates and water were all there — plus disposable gloves, hair ties, hairpins, and even dental floss.
When you're eating a thick handmade burger, your hands get messy and hair can get in the way, so these small touches showed real thoughtfulness.
Next to the gloves was a fun photo guide on how to eat a handmade burger. I also liked that sodas came with one free refill per person.
bd Burger Seongsu menu and side-swap options
bd Burger Seongsu's signatures are the Grilled Shrimp Avocado Set (₩18,900) and the Wasabi Shrimp Set (₩17,900). Set sides can be swapped from fries to eggplant and mushroom fritters, and swapping the drink to a milkshake adds ₩2,900.

True to its reputation for shrimp burgers, there were plenty of shrimp options — wasabi, sriracha, grilled shrimp avocado — alongside beef burgers.
Eggplant Fries were ₩6,900 on their own, milkshakes ₩5,900, and other listed drinks came with no extra charge.
It was unusual to see eggplant and mushroom fritters offered alongside fries, so we swapped one set's side for eggplant & mushroom.
What we ordered and the 50,600-won total
This time we decided to split three different burgers at bd Burger Seongsu. Two lunch sets, one à la carte item, and extra options came to ₩50,600 total.
- Lunch Double Cheese Set ₩15,900 — fries and cola, no extra charge
- Lunch bd Wasabi Set ₩19,800 — base ₩14,900 + eggplant & mushroom ₩2,000 + milkshake ₩2,900
- Grilled Shrimp Avocado ₩14,900 — base ₩12,900 + extra shrimp ₩2,000
Two lunch sets plus an à la carte burger and extra options made for a nice spread. With ₩6,000 off across the two sets, tasting several dishes felt a bit less pricey.

At the time of our visit, there was also a promotion offering a free corn salad for posting a Naver receipt or Google Maps review. If you're interested, check the current terms in store.

After ordering, a pickup message appeared on the tablet screen, and we grabbed our food from the pickup zone.
Double Cheese Burger: a classic combo that delivers
The burger in the Lunch Double Cheese Set (₩15,900) had two beef patties, onion, and cheese between the buns. The patties were juicy with great meaty flavor.

When we picked up the food, every burger looked thick and packed full, genuinely mouthwatering.
The shop recommends wearing the disposable gloves and eating the burger whole, uncut. We wanted to split up and try each kind, so we cut them in half. With so much stuffed inside, cutting neatly wasn't easy. If you're not sharing, I'd recommend eating it whole as instructed.
We started with the double cheese burger. Two beef patties, onion, and cheese between the buns — a combo that needs no introduction. Cutting it in half revealed melted cheese pooling between the meat and onion, making it look even more delicious.
The patties were juicy with great meaty flavor. Combined with the richness of the cheese and the onion, it was a familiar combo that still felt satisfying. Since the first burger was already this good, I had high hopes for the rest.
Wasabi Shrimp burger: whole shrimp inside a crispy patty
bd Burger Seongsu's Wasabi Shrimp had a surprisingly plump shrimp patty even though we didn't order the big size. Rather than finely ground, it was a patty with whole shrimp pieces you could bite into.

You could tell it was crispy just by looking, and one bite confirmed it — after the crunchy coating, plump shrimp followed. As someone who loves shrimp burgers, this texture was especially satisfying.
The wasabi sauce wasn't overpowering either. For my taste, it cut through the richness of the fried patty just enough, letting the shrimp flavor come through cleanly. If you like a crispy shrimp patty, this is a Seongsu Station burger menu worth trying.
Why Grilled Shrimp Avocado with extra shrimp was the best pick
Of the three, my personal favorite was bd Burger Seongsu's Grilled Shrimp Avocado. I had it at ₩14,900 — the base price of ₩12,900 plus a ₩2,000 shrimp upgrade.

Maybe because of the extra shrimp, it looked the most loaded of the three. It was so packed that some shrimp fell out while cutting — this one is definitely better eaten whole, held in your hands.
Between the buns were lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, bacon, and grilled shrimp.
The first thing that struck me was the distinct aroma and flavor of grilled shrimp. The shrimp was plump, the avocado creamy, and with a spicy sauce added, the combination was excellent.
It was a totally different experience from the crispy-patty appeal of the Wasabi Shrimp. I understood right away why this is the signature menu, and I was glad I'd added extra shrimp.
I didn't compare it directly to the base version without extra shrimp, but this shrimp-upgraded version was genuinely satisfying. If you love shrimp like I do, I'd recommend the ₩2,000 shrimp upgrade.
Sides at bd Burger Seongsu: eggplant and mushroom fritters
At bd Burger Seongsu, we paired our sets with both fries and eggplant & mushroom fritters. Both fritters were very crispy on the outside.

I usually go for fries with a burger, so it was nice to have a different fried option here. It felt distinctly like a bd Burger touch, worth trying.
The eggplant fritters had that distinct eggplant aroma, while the mushroom fritters were moist and juicy inside when bitten into. Even though they were both fritters, each vegetable had its own texture, making it fun to alternate between them.
We sipped cola and milkshake along the way too. By the time we'd worked through three burgers and sides, we were very full.
Worth returning to when you want a shrimp burger in Seongsu
bd Burger Seongsu showed off three burgers, each with its own appeal: the Double Cheese with its juicy meat-and-cheese combo, the Wasabi Shrimp with crispy patty and whole shrimp texture, and the Grilled Shrimp Avocado balancing grilled shrimp flavor with creamy avocado.
My personal favorite was the Grilled Shrimp Avocado with extra shrimp. Since I went specifically craving shrimp, I got to fully enjoy the texture and flavor I was after.
If you want to save money, use the weekday lunch set running from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can enjoy the Wasabi Shrimp or Double Cheese with a side and drink at a discounted price — great value.
If you're out enjoying pop-ups and shopping on Seongsu's Yeonmujang-gil and craving something filling, this handmade burger shop is a solid addition to your meal plans.
