A good Seochungju restaurant for dinner in the Enterprise City area: Deomasitneun Jokbal, Seochungju branch.

Where is Deomasitneun Jokbal Bossam Seochungju Branch, and what are the hours?
Address: 675 Yongjeon-ri, Jungangtap-myeon, Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do / Hours: 14:00 - 02:00 the next day
It's located in the shopping strip next to Chungju e-Pyeonhansesang Coaru The Terrace. Hours run remarkably long, until 2am, so it works for everything from evening company dinners to late-night snacking.
How to find the restaurant in Seochungju Enterprise City

It's across the street from the building with the No Brand store.

The entrance is cozy and the shop stretches back deep inside, but the advertising banner fluttering outside makes it easy to spot.
Inside Deomasitneun Jokbal Bossam: seating for groups

Very upscale and clean, as befits a modern brand.

Given the nature of the menu, tables can be pushed together or separated as needed, easily handling the large groups common in the Enterprise City.
Menu and prices at Deomasitneun Jokbal Bossam

Beyond the basic original jokbal and bossam, there are trendy options like charcoal-grilled jokbal, garlic jokbal, teriyaki jokbal, and cold jokbal, all of which can be ordered as half-and-half combos.
I went with the classic — order complete: small jokbal.
The table setting and the free bibim makguksu and sundubu jjigae

Perilla leaves, lettuce, garlic, chili — the usual wrap companions.

Crunchy radish kimchi, sharp green onion kimchi, and sweet, refreshing cabbage kimchi. The tangy mustard-dressed cold onions add a nice bite that plays off the crisp texture — a real supporting-cast MVP.

A lovely freebie, also advertised right at the entrance — bibim makguksu comes free with just the main dish.
Soft, nutty noodles, crisp bright vegetables, and a spicy-sweet sauce — a perfect three-way balance.

Sure, it's not going to rival a dedicated buckwheat noodle specialist, but it's normally ₩6,000 a la carte — getting it free is a real steal.
And that's not all. Freshly boiled the moment you order, its spicy warmth seeps right into your nose.

At this Seochungju restaurant, even ordering just one dish gets you a hearty sundubu jjigae as a default extra.

For someone like me who can't eat anything without soup, this is truly a blessing.

Silky, mild, and not too intense, the soft tofu is perfect for an empty stomach before the main meal.

Aside from these two free items, all the other side dishes can be freely refilled from the self-serve bar.

A drink or two while snacking on the freebies, and then — the main event arrives.
Small jokbal: how big is the portion, and how does it taste?
Boiled from 100% domestic fresh trotter, it lives up to its name — Deomasitneun means 'more delicious.'

Even the small size fills a huge plate to overflowing.

The first surprise is the portion size. At a lot of places, the bone takes up most of the plate and there's not much actual meat — but here, you can tell at a glance that the plate is generously packed with lean meat and collagen.

Truly juicy, moist lean meat, and chewy, tender collagen skin and fat.
At this level, I think it's fair to call it top-tier jokbal in the Seochungju Enterprise City.

Colorful seasoned salted shrimp. The seasoning isn't too strong, so paired with the mild lean meat—

—it brings out the pork's natural flavor even more, savory and rich.

Wrapping the meat in actual cabbage kimchi and radish kimchi really feels like eating proper bossam.

Even while eating the bibim makguksu, I kept adding a piece of jokbal on top.

Stuffing a full, satisfying wrap into your mouth, then washing it down with a spoonful of sundubu broth — that's pure bliss. Open until 2am on late nights, which makes this Seochungju restaurant, Deomasitneun Jokbal, even better.
