Curious about a good taco place for a date in Balsan and Magok?! I want to recommend Taqueros Magok Main Branch, which I've revisited many times not just with my boyfriend but with my parents and friends too. I ordered the Taqueros Signature Set, and it's such a great set for 2-3 people to share!

Here's the exterior of Taqueros Magok, which gives off an exotic yet stylish vibe. The bold red door paired with the wood-tone facade made me feel like I'd traveled abroad, haha.

Next to the entrance there are comfortable waiting chairs for guests, but I'd recommend booking your preferred time through Naver Reservation before you visit.

Menu lineup

There's a variety of à la carte and set menus, including signature items like fajitas and Texas BBQ pork ribs. There are also plenty of taco options to choose from based on your taste, like fish taco, chicken taco, and shrimp taco.

Restaurant atmosphere and seating

The interior blends deep red tones with wood materials, creating a cozy yet upscale feel. The plush sofa-style table seating meant I could always eat comfortably.

There's also group seating available, making it great for a work dinner or a family meal. With soft lighting added on top, it's a quiet, romantic spot that's really nice for chatting with a group.

It has that warm, familiar feeling unique to family restaurants, so you can eat comfortably. I think it's an appealing space that anyone would like, whether you're visiting with friends, a partner, or family.

QR code ordering

You can easily check the menu and order via smartphone using the QR code installed at each table. You don't need to call over staff — you can take your time browsing the screen and ordering, which is really convenient.

Ordering the Taqueros Signature Couple Set

We ordered the best-selling two-person set, the Taqueros Signature Couple Set. A lot of people order à la carte, but with the set you get to enjoy both tacos and fajitas, which was great, haha.

Each seat was set with cutlery and disposable gloves. With the red line as an accent point, it matched the restaurant's atmosphere really well, and the plates were quite pretty, haha.

Basic nachos and cheese sauce

Before the main dish arrives, you get crispy basic nacho chips and cheese sauce as a starter. The nachos come out generously, with a crunchy, savory texture like they were just fried, and a savory aroma. Dipping them into the rich, smooth cheese sauce is addictive — I couldn't stop reaching for more.

Fajita pan and sauce refills

Here's the fantastic sight of the generous Taqueros Signature Set, filled to the point the table barely had room. Centered around a fajita pan loaded with grilled meats and shrimp, a variety of sauces were laid out too. The sauces are refillable, except for guacamole.

There's warm tortillas, fresh tacos, refreshing guacamole and sour cream, and even thick cheese sauce. The generous, colorful spread makes your mouth water just looking at it.

Wrapping various ingredients into the tortilla yourself, you never get tired of it — it just keeps tasting good. The shrimp especially was plump and delicious, the chicken was great too, and the fried rice underneath was really tasty too!

Fish taco and chicken taco

There were two kinds of tacos, fish and chicken, so we got a knife and cut them in half to try both.

Personally, the chicken taco sauce suited my taste, so it was one of the tastiest tacos I've had, haha.

Tortilla refills — plenty for two

Tortillas are refillable, but there was so much food that we were full even without a refill. If three people go, I think you'd run short and need to refill!

Wearing the sanitary gloves, I put various meats, sour cream, and cheese sauce onto a warm tortilla! If you don't like it too rich, you can add salsa sauce. Since the tortilla was already cut in half, you could eat it in two or three bites without opening your mouth too wide — it worked out just right.
