This visit to Daily Fix Seoul National University Entrance landed in my top two burgers ever. There's a reason it's known as a Seoul National University food spot.

This wasn't my first time here. Last time I had the bacon cheeseburger (₩12,900) and 18 Fries (₩6,900), and that was seriously good too.

I still remember how impressed I was by the house-smoked bacon paired with the Korean beef patty. So this time I decided to try different menu items.

What the table kiosk says about Daily Fix

You order at Daily Fix Seoul National University Entrance through a table kiosk, and while I was ordering, the restaurant's intro caught my eye. It said the burgers are made using know-how accumulated over years by chefs who worked at New York restaurants with Michelin three and two stars, that a singer known as the "food goddess" endorsed the place, and that it narrowly took second place at the Korea Burger Championship, losing by just 0.02 points. The patty is a thick 170g one made from 100% Korean beef, and even the bacon and pastrami are handmade start to finish — no way this could taste bad!

The interior is bright and full of character, so it was great for photos, and with so many burger varieties, my new goal became trying every single one on the menu!

There's a wide range of side dishes too, so it's fun picking and choosing, and the atmosphere alone makes for an enjoyable meal.

Truffle mushroom burger: the star of this visit

This time I ordered the truffle mushroom burger (₩13,900), the chicken burger (₩11,900), and eggplant fries (₩12,900). The truffle mushroom burger combines a 100% Korean beef patty with truffle mayo sauce and mushroom filling, and I found myself going "this is so good!!" with every bite. The fragrant truffle scent and savory mayo lingered in my mouth the whole time, and the patty's juices were still alive, so every bite was satisfying.

How good is the chicken burger?

Daily Fix's chicken burger (₩11,900) fries chicken thigh meat until crispy and pairs it with spicy coleslaw. The combination of the crunchy coating and the spicy coleslaw kept me reaching for more. Spicy flavors can turn heavy fast, but the coleslaw cut through it cleanly, so I kept eating. It was also fun switching back and forth between the two burgers to compare.

Eggplant fries: a side with real presence

The eggplant fries (₩12,900) are thick eggplant slices fried crisp outside and tender inside, served with a celery-based green mayo sauce, and despite being a side, they held their own next to the mains. I scraped up every last bit of sauce and cleared the whole plate.

Is Daily Fix worth a second visit?

Last time it was the bacon cheeseburger and fries, this time the truffle mushroom burger, chicken burger, and eggplant fries — every visit, I end up clearing my plate completely. That says something about how solid each menu item is.

I haven't been disappointed once in two visits, so I think I'll keep coming back.

If you're looking for a genuinely good burger place that keeps you happy the whole meal and leaves you satisfyingly full afterward, I highly recommend Daily Fix! Honestly, I think it's a burger everyone should try at least once in their life haha.
