My mom, who came along with me this week, said this was the tastiest thing she ate all day. It's Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu Siheung Premium Outlets. If you're shopping at the outlet and looking for somewhere to grab a meal, this one's worth keeping an eye on.
Eating at Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu's outdoor tables with a dog
Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu Siheung Premium Outlets is right in front of you as soon as you walk into Taste Village (the food court). Even though we've been here several times, it was kind of a hidden gem for us. There are various seating styles indoors so you can pick whatever suits you, but since we brought our dog Coco along, we sat outside. The weather was great and the outdoor setup was really pretty, so honestly the outdoor tables ended up being a lovely spot to eat.

Pyeongi Dambaek Siheung Premium Outlets menu and prices
We ordered the spicy mixed kalguksu with tender pork jowl suyuk (steamed pork) set (₩19,000) and the perilla oil kalguksu single (₩13,000). True to being a Siheung kalguksu spot, the menu lineup was quite substantial. Being inside the outlet mall made it easy to stop by naturally in the middle of shopping.

Perilla oil kalguksu: is mixing rice into the leftover sauce worth it?
Pyeongi Dambaek's perilla oil kalguksu (single ₩13,000) had no broth — the noodles were tossed in a perilla oil sauce, and the nutty aroma won me over instantly. The noodles were chewy and had great texture too. After finishing the noodles, I mixed the rice they gave me into the leftover sauce in the bowl, and even that was delicious. If I'd stopped at just the noodles I would have missed out — it was a bowl that stuck the landing all the way to the end.

Spicy mixed kalguksu set with tender pork jowl suyuk
The spicy mixed kalguksu was also broth-free, tossed in a spicy sauce. We ordered it as the set with tender pork jowl suyuk (₩19,000), and the suyuk really was tender, true to its name. The thickness was just right, and eating it with the thinly sliced garlic and spicy peppers on top gave it a clean flavor with no gamey taste. Eating the suyuk together with the spicy, savory mixed sauce, I kept reaching for more, and we also cleaned out a whole bowl of the hot bone soup.

How to find Pyeongi Dambaek and what to order
Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu is located inside Taste Village on the 1st floor of Siheung Premium Outlets.
If you're looking for a good place to eat at Siheung Premium Outlets, or want a hearty meal after a lot of shopping and walking, I'd recommend this spot. Bone kalguksu is the signature dish, but if you like nutty flavors, go for the perilla oil kalguksu, and if you want something spicy and filling, the mixed kalguksu suyuk set is great too! My mom really enjoyed it and said she'd definitely come back with a friend next time. Also, they're currently running a receipt review event, so that might be worth checking out too 🍦
