How to find Pizza Slice Seoul in the basement near Seongsu Station

I visited Pizza Slice Seoul, a well-known pizza spot in Seongsu-dong. I already knew where it was, but this was my first time actually going in!

There's both an elevator and stairs on the way to the shop. Whichever way is easier for you, head down to the basement level and you'll find the entrance.

Even though it's underground, the space was surprisingly spacious and pleasant. Plenty of customers, plenty of tables — it looked like a great spot for groups too.

I managed to snap a photo when the crowd had thinned out a bit. Even at dinnertime, customers kept streaming in — a real hotspot for pizza near Seongsu Station.

Ordering from the showcase: Today's Slice for 8,000 won

At Pizza Slice Seoul, you order by picking a slice from the showcase at the counter. Once you go up to the counter, you can see a variety of pizzas neatly and hygienically displayed inside the case. There were so many kinds that it was even more satisfying to pick according to my taste~

The staff were friendly too. With the open kitchen, the whole place felt clean and well managed hygienically.

The menu was posted on the counter. This time I ordered two things: the Today's Slice pizza (₩8,000) and Homemade Meatball. There were various side menu options too, but since I was eating alone I didn't think I could finish them all, so I just added a Coke to drink~

There were stylish business cards sitting at the counter too, and disposable forks, knives and wet wipes were available self-serve from the counter.

As I mentioned above, the shop was spacious and comfortable. There were quite a lot of seats too, so it looked like it could handle group meals without any trouble.

There was also a separate spot to wash your hands on one side of the shop. After eating, you could sort your recycling right next to the handwashing area on your way out.

There was also seating along a corridor-style stretch. Passing through the glass door connects to the café next door, the restrooms are on the opposite side, and you can also come straight down to the shop via the elevator.

Baby chairs were also on hand, so it looked comfortable for family meals too.

Up on a shelf along the corridor, the pizza-box interior decoration caught my eye, so I took a photo.

The atmosphere was really nice too — this Seongsu-dong pizza spot seemed like it'd make a great date course too.

Since I came alone, I sat in a seat that looked good for solo dining.

I headed back to the counter to take another look at the pizzas.

The Today's Slice looked like it might be a kind of combination pizza, so I decided to order it.

All the other kinds looked delicious too, but eating alone, two slices was clearly the max~ So in the end I ordered just two kinds total: Today's Slice and the Homemade Meatball.

At my table, there was cozy lighting and everything I needed on the table (napkins, hot sauce, etc.).

The Coke came out first.

It came with crushed ice, and as expected, Coke is the perfect pairing for pizza. The right amount of fizz and sweetness brought out the charm of the pizza even more.

The pizza came out quickly too, so I brought it over right away~

How do the Homemade Meatball Slice and Today's Slice taste?

Each slice at Pizza Slice Seoul was bigger than a regular pizza slice, but I was curious enough that I had to try both.

Both had a different appeal starting from the visuals alone.

My hands aren't particularly small, and even so, each slice was clearly bigger than my palm.

The Homemade Meatball pizza had meat on it, and the crispy edges stood out.

The dough itself was on the thin side, but for both kinds the crust (the edge) was crispy, and it was tasty even without extra cheese.

The Today's pizza really did taste like a combination.

Anyway, both were delicious, and I cleanly polished off two slices by myself. This was my review of Pizza Slice Seoul, a Seongsu hotspot I'd like to visit again.
