I suddenly had a huge craving for gopchang (grilled beef intestines), so I got takeout from Gobuni Gopchang Hanam Misa Station Branch haha. I thought about eating in, but that day I just wanted to eat comfortably at home, so I got sundae-gopchang (grilled intestines with Korean blood sausage) for two to go! Hope this review helps a lot of you ✨

Gobuni Gopchang is my go-to whenever I crave gopchang! This time I decided to get takeout from the Misa branch. And you can get a ₩2,000 takeout discount too!

You can also eat it like this inside the restaurant. Once the weather cools down a bit, I'll have to come by in the evening and eat gopchang on the spot too~!

The best part about getting takeout and bringing it home is you can eat in comfy clothes haha. Eating at home also means no worrying about time — you can eat, take a break, then eat again. I actually like this kind of takeout food :) This time I ordered sundae-gopchang for two! It cost ₩30,000.

How was the packaging and what came with it

When I got the takeout home, the packaging was more thorough than I expected, so nothing shifted around on the way back. The main dish with the gopchang and sundae came with the sauces and side items packed separately and neatly.

The sundae-gopchang for two at ₩30,000 was clean to eat at home even as takeout, and since the sauces and sides were all included, I didn't have to prepare much else myself. On days you don't feel like going to the restaurant or just want to enjoy gopchang comfortably at home, takeout is a good option too haha.

As you can tell from the photos, I liked how clean the packaging was. Once I got home and laid everything out one by one, it really felt like a proper spread haha. Especially since there were perilla leaves included, it was great for wrapping the gopchang with other toppings. There were also two kinds of sauce, so I could dip and switch up the flavor as I went.

How the sundae-gopchang tasted and how much there was

With sundae-gopchang, the combo of gopchang and sundae eaten together is really the best haha. The savory taste unique to gopchang paired with the sundae gives you a different texture each bite, and I just kept reaching for more. There was a nice smoky char to it too —完내스 (perfectly satisfying)~!

At first I wondered if two portions would be enough to eat comfortably at home, but once I spread it all out, it was more filling than I expected. It was a good amount for two people to share, making for an easy dinner.

Why I chose takeout over eating in

If you're looking for gopchang restaurants near Misa Station and find yourself craving something you can eat comfortably at home, getting it as takeout works out well. Honestly, whenever I go to a gopchang restaurant, even as much as I enjoy the food, I get a bit self-conscious about the smell sticking to my clothes — takeout let me enjoy it without that worry haha.

And since the side dishes were all packed separately for takeout, all I had to do was transfer everything onto plates at home and the meal was ready. I usually find it annoying to prepare a bunch of extra things separately when eating takeout, but since everything I needed was already included, it was convenient. It was a meal well worth the ₩30,000.
