Kids-friendly cheese pork cutlet with cheese pull at Jeongssi Hambak

A clean, atmospheric, comfortable, feel-good Baegot restaurant ☆

My husband finally had a day off, so we took our 5-year-old for a lap around the Siheung outlets and picked out a restaurant to try.

Here's my review of Jeongssi Hambak — we ate so happily in that clean, tidy atmosphere!

Jeongssi Hambak Baegot Branch hours and parking info

Hours are 11:00–21:00 (last order 20:30).

Takeout and delivery are available.

Free parking is in the underground lot of the Orange Building at Avenue France.

There's a baby chair, and kids' tableware is at the self-serve corner.

The address is 2F, Room 225, Orange Building, Avenue France Central, 26 Seoul National University-ro 278beon-gil, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Avenue France is huge, so make sure you park in the Orange Building!!! Get off the elevator, turn right, and you'll find it right away.

A dining space I really loved

The words 'clean' and 'tidy' come to mind right away. The deeper we walked in, the more we found ourselves saying 'wow, this is nice.'

The interior is so nice. The tables are spaced far apart so it feels really open, and I loved the artwork on the walls and the table styling.

One side is a full glass wall, so natural light blends nicely with the lighting.

Basic side dishes and tteokbokki

Pickles, diced radish kimchi, jalapeños, and tteokbokki (rice cake in spicy sauce) come as basic sides. The tteokbokki gets one free refill. For the other three sides, you can grab more from the self-serve bar if you need it. The rich sauce and chewy rice cake tasted exactly like the tteokbokki in front of my elementary school!!!

Thick, tender extra-large hamburg steak

True to its 'handmade hamburg steak' name, this thing is thick, thick, thick, and I loved it! haha

They poured on plenty of sauce, and said they'd bring more if we needed it. A salad comes alongside too.

One of us cutting, one of us mixing — busy hands all around lol. The sauce was so good mixed into the rice, and topping it with a piece of the hamburg steak, this combo is a winner!

Eaten without sauce, it's full of savory flavor. Dipped in the sauce, the meaty aroma blends with a slightly tangy, savory taste!!

Rosé pasta loaded with plump shrimp

The rosé pasta arrived — such a generous amount of sauce, it made my heart happy haha

I thought only the sauce was generous, but the shrimp was piled on too! There's a slight kick of spice, so our 5-year-old couldn't eat it, but that little spoonful of heat sent mom and dad's satisfaction way up!! The sauce is so good!!! I came expecting a hamburg steak spot and left adding pasta spot to the list!

Since I love spicy food, I added the spicy sauce. They gave it to me nicely in a separate little dish =)

Even the pork cutlet had a pretty soft-boiled egg on top~* Cutting into it made this crisp, crackling sound! Fried just right.

Cheese waterfall~!!!! With the cheese stretching and stretching, our little one loved it so much!

Ahh~ it pulls and pulls so well, and the flavor is just as good — salty and savory! The sauce isn't overpowering and blends well with the cheese. And dipping it with a little of that spicy sauce I ordered ....!!! The best!!!!! hahaha

I ordered a cola, and the owner had such a nice touch!! Gave us two cups of ice. It might seem small, but that kind of service means so much.. thank you so much =)

Final thoughts

A Baegot restaurant the whole family can enjoy together! I really loved that there are so many spicy options, and I liked that they add extra sauce when asked. Our picky eater seemed to really like the flavors, since she ate both the hamburg steak and the pork cutlet so well =)
