Pastiar's location and parking

Pastiar is a newly opened Western-style restaurant in Yeonnam-dong, about a 10-minute walk from Exit 3 of Hongik University Station. Just note there's no parking.

It's on the 2nd floor of the building, and there's a waiting area right outside the store, so you can sit down even if there's a wait! Naver advance reservations are also available so you can skip the wait entirely.
Inside: the vibe and how to use the space

The European-style interior was spacious and, being a new opening, felt really clean. Pastiar (PASTEAOIR) apparently blends English and French, carrying on the sensibility of PASTA, TEA, and SAVOIR1983 :)

With a touch of European mood added to the Yeonnam-dong atmosphere, it's cozy and warm — a good fit for dates, first meetings, friend gatherings, or family meals out.

The friendly owner said every dish is made in-house, homemade style, and they even give out coffee through a review event!
🍯 Tip — 1 free Americano (choice of hot or iced) with a receipt review

Please check the origin labels for beef, pork, chicken, fish and vegetables.

Even the plates and cutlery had a nice touch — this pasta spot in Yeonnam-dong, Hongdae, Seoul is a good place to chat over good food in a great atmosphere, and being newly opened, it was quiet.
Menu and the weekday lunch discount

Here's the menu at this Yeonnam-dong pasta spot. It's full of dishes made with homemade sous vide steak, salmon plates, ragù and tomato sauce, basil pesto, seafood and more.
🍯 Tip — cube steak rice bowl weekday lunch discount, ₩16,000 → ₩12,000 (applies Tue–Fri, 11:00–13:30)

One of the signature dishes, the sous vide steak, is slow-cooked at a steady temperature for a long time using the sous vide method. It's also available as a set, and the set for two is popular!

Beyond steak, salad, soup and pasta, the dinner menu includes cheese potato pancake, tomato-cheese buldak (spicy chicken), gambas al ajillo, and other dishes that pair well with a drink. There's also coffee, specialty coffee, wine, highballs and draft beer, plus desserts like cheesecake and ice cream.
How did the sous vide steak and lasagna taste?

The dishes at this Yeonnam-dong pasta spot, Pastiar, were plated with real care, and the visuals were fantastic ✨

I can't live without pickles or kimchi, so when a restaurant thoughtfully brings out a generous plate of pickles first, it just makes my day. ໒꒰ྀི ≧ ᗜ ≦ ꒱ྀིა៹☘︎

Sous vide steak, ₩27,000
To mark the visit to this Western restaurant, I ordered the signature dish — and I was genuinely surprised. It kept the steak's own flavor intact while being so tender it seemed to melt in my mouth, still holding onto all its juices.

I really didn't expect it to be this special going in — truly tender, with a subtle herb aroma giving it deep flavor, and the salad served alongside was the perfect kicker. A standout dish at this Yeonnam-dong pasta spot.

Scoop up the tomato sauce pooled under the meat as you eat — it makes this good-vibes Hongdae Western restaurant taste even better ❣ Put everything on the plate together in one bite — tomato sauce, sous vide meat, tomato, carrot rapée, veggie salad and wasabi — and you'll get it.

Lasagna, ₩22,000
I went back and forth with the ragù, but ended up picking two of the most popular main dishes — and it was such a good call!! It already looked delicious, and with layers of different cheeses tucked in like a blanket, all I could think was how fast I wanted to dig in.

Can you see the cheese stretching out? Between the cheese, the layered pasta sheets and the ragù, the harmony is fantastic — this lasagna keeps its authentic flavor intact, and I have to recommend it.

Thick and generously portioned — just right for two people to share at this Hongdae, Yeonnam-dong pasta spot. Friendly, clean, great atmosphere and great taste — it's easily good enough for a date or a first meeting, and I can't help but recommend this restaurant.
