Today I finally went to Oreno Ramen, my all-time favorite ramen spot!!

That flavor is just so good every single time. Once you've tasted this broth, you can never forget it... and you instantly get why it's Michelin-recognized!!! This was my first time at the Eunpyeong branch, and as expected — it delivered!

That milky-white broth that's so uniquely Oreno's! Can you see it, huh ㅠㅠ It's genuinely so good, please go twice.

Walking route from Saejeol Station to Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong

Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong is just a 5-minute walk from the subway station! So convenient being that close. It's even got a Bulgwangcheon stream view, so it seems like a lot of people stop by after a run along the creek!

The place radiates that must-try-restaurant energy from the outside!! We got there before 6pm and it was already packed.

Interior with solo bar seats and table seating

The store has bar seats that are great for solo dining, and plenty of table seats too for enjoying ramen with a group!! The spacing between tables was wider than expected, which made conversation easy!!

The menu: tori paitan and karaipaitan

The menu is super simple~~~ tori paitan ramen and karaipaitan ramen! The difference between tori paitan and karaipaitan comes down to whether spice is added or not. Both start from the same milky chicken broth base!

Sign about the free cilantro add-on

You can even add cilantro (coriander) to your ramen!! And the cilantro add-on is free. Cilantro lovers, run over there right now.

Bulgwangcheon-view tables and unlimited refills

Sitting at a table with a Bulgwangcheon stream view put me in such a good mood~~ Eating ramen while watching the creek go by!!

Sign about unlimited refills on noodles, rice, broth and kimchi

And on top of that, the owner is so generous. Noodles, rice, broth, and kimchi are all unlimited refills, they said. Given today's prices, getting unlimited refills with a single bowl of ramen — hats off to the owner's generosity.

They even have aprons and hair ties ready for customer convenience!

Kimchi and pickles served as basic side dishes

Kimchi and pickles came out first, and the pickles really cut the richness of the broth so nicely!!

Green tea served instead of plain water

And here's another one of Oreno Ramen's clever touches!! The water is actually green tea! It cuts through the richness completely, so it felt so clean and refreshing~!!

How the karaipaitan ramen tastes

The karaipaitan ramen has a slight spicy kick to it, which made it even better!! Highly recommend it for anyone who likes spicy food!!! Even for me, someone who can't handle spice well, it wasn't too spicy at all — just right.

Can you see how springy the noodles are. The portion is really generous too, and you can even get noodle refills!! The mushrooms mixed in were also plentiful, which was great.

Adding egg (+₩1,000) and tsukune chashu (+₩3,000)

Karaipaitan ramen with added egg and tsukune chashu

Normally you get one egg, but I added an extra one to make it nice and plentiful~~!! The egg is soft-boiled with the seasoning soaked all the way through, salty and savory and so, so good ㅠㅠㅠ

Look at that milky-white broth... just excellent.

Ramen topped with the added tsukune chashu

I also added the tsukune chashu, and I'm so glad I did. Three thousand won well spent. A perfect Eunpyeong restaurant recommendation for after a run along Bulgwangcheon stream — Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong.
