Wonju Enterprise City BBQ: 1kg four-cut pork set at Hanmaeum

I went to Wonju's Enterprise City in Gangwon! Word was you could get amazing pork belly there?? From pork belly to pork neck to pork jowl, the meat was so fresh and delicious — a real BBQ gem. The place was also clean and comfortable, which I loved!! Shall we dive in??

It's in Wonju's Enterprise City, so it's a pork belly gem the nearby apartment complexes can enjoy?? Parking's easy too! Good to know~~

Inside the restaurant: atmosphere and table spacing

We walked into Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang~~ The place was really clean and pleasant, loved it!

The restaurant is spacious and the tables were spaced well apart too, so eating felt totally comfortable! Would be great for family dinners or group work gatherings, even year-end/new-year staff dinners??

A kids zone you can watch on CCTV

What I loved most was the kids zone — like a kids café?! In Wonju's Enterprise City, going out to eat with family or friends and having a kids zone means zero worries while you eat??

The floor inside was dry too so no one gets hurt?? So clean and nice!

It was pleasant for kids to play in and spacious, so everyone was having fun??

You can watch the kids' playroom on CCTV while eating meat, so no need to worry at all! Honestly you can lose track of the kids while eating, so this thoughtful touch was so nice??

The meat aging fridge and the private group room

Inside the restaurant there was a meat aging fridge? Premium aged raw meat! That's probably why the meat was even tastier?? Looks like they age the meat themselves??

And next to the kids zone there's a group room! If you need a group dinner in Wonju's Enterprise City, booking ahead would be great?? For group gatherings or special occasions, spending time at a BBQ place is nice?? Isn't a big family outing in Wonju for Chuseok or Lunar New Year fun too?? haha

Being able to eat privately felt like a huge plus!! Honestly when you're eating meat with soju and beer, things can get a bit loud! haha

Ordering the 1kg whole-pig set with four cuts

Shall we order now?? The menu had aged beef and pork. Beef cuts included galbisal, bone-in galbi, bucheotsal, woo-samgyeop and more, while pork ranged across pork belly, pork neck, pork jowl and pork skirt, all great cuts?? Since they had a whole pig or half pig set menu, I ordered the whole pig 1kg.

What comes with it: the side dish lineup

Once I ordered, the basic side dishes came out! So varied and great?? From doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) to scallion shreds, onion, chili?, tangpyeongchae (mung bean jelly salad), spring cabbage salad, seasoned crab, mustard leaf kimchi, lettuce wraps, even lotus root potato salad — nothing was missing!!

With side dishes and the grill plate all set, this might be the best BBQ spot in Wonju's Enterprise City??

The whole pig 1kg arrived! With minari (water celery), pineapple, mushrooms and all four cuts — pork belly, pork neck, pork skirt, pork jowl — laid out! The meat looked so high quality at a glance, didn't it?? I was genuinely surprised!

The grill plate was great too! If you're looking for a pork belly gem in Wonju's Enterprise City, I really recommend this place!

The doenjang jjigae was loaded with ingredients and seasoned just right, so good??

Pork belly first: charcoal aroma and grilling

First up, pork belly on the grill! Heat the plate well before laying it down!

That charcoal aroma rising up was so good? I grilled minari lightly in the pork belly fat too! Added enoki and other mushrooms as well!

Cut into bite sizes! The heat was strong so the meat cooked fast? Should I say the pork was like steak? The grilling was no joke?

First, dipped lightly in salt to try! Since it's aged pork, I'm calling this a certified Wonju Enterprise City gem!

The mushrooms cooked well too, one bite!

Ate the meat with pickled onion? onion wrap! The meat was so tender??

Had a bite with myeongi namul (wild garlic leaves) too~~ Meat and myeongi namul combo is so good!!

Dipped lightly in ssamjang (dipping paste) too!

Round two: pork neck and the self-serve side bar

Round two is pork neck! Personally, the pork neck was the absolute best! You could search for it as a Wonju Enterprise City pork neck gem too!!

And if side dishes run low, no worries at all. There's a self-bar so you can grab whatever you want! Loved it so much! Running out of side dishes can make ordering more feel awkward, right~~

Ordered steamed rice too! The rice was nicely sticky and good??

Pork jowl, the cut that melts

The pork jowl was also really high quality. The meat was so tender it practically melted? Certified pork jowl gem in Wonju Enterprise City!!

Dipped lightly in salt and the juices just burst, you know??

Finishing with mul naengmyeon, coffee and ice cream

Ordered mul naengmyeon (cold noodle soup) too! It had egg, pickled radish and meat in it? Tangy-sweet, perfect as a final dessert-like course!

And just as we were leaving, there was ice cream and coffee?? Getting dessert sorted too, isn't that amazing?? The meat's already affordable and there's a self-bar with coffee and ice cream — I'm not sure there's a better value pork BBQ spot in Wonju's Enterprise City..??

The ice cream felt like yogurt ice cream, not too sweet, so it kept going down easily! Great as dessert!

There were even eyeglass lens cleaner wipes at the head of the table since glasses get oil splatter — such a thoughtful touch! Even floss was there, amazing~~ If you ever visit Wonju's Enterprise City, definitely come here!! Next time I'll come back for the beef!!
