Where is Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, and where do you park?
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, a well-known spot in Nowon, has on-site parking, so it's easy to visit by car. The underground lot was full today, so I used the upper outdoor lot instead.
Located on the 6th floor, Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is huge, and being so popular, it also has a waiting area and CatchTable ready. Check the photo below for business hours.

Maybe that's why it was so crowded. Still, since the place is over 300 pyeong, there were plenty of seats to go around.

There were quite a few new menu items out. Couldn't skip trying them, haha.
Time to really dig in, right? True to Kuu Kuu's fame as a sushi buffet, there's a really wide variety of sushi ready. Lots of shrimp sushi varieties too, and they somehow felt upgraded from before!
Besides sushi, there's also pizza, fried items, and other Western-style food,
Chinese food, salads, seafood and side dishes, and a variety of teas and drinks are all prepared too,
Dippin' Dots-style bead ice cream, served at lunch too
There's an enormous variety of desserts too. From cakes to fruit,

And that's not all, haha. There's a chocolate fountain, waffles, and cereal too. Even trying everything just once would fill you up completely.
Unlimited draft beer for 5,900 won
On top of that, if you write a review, you can get unlimited draft beer for just 5,900 won! And it's not the cheap stuff — it's Terra and Kelly! If only I hadn't driven today... regretfully passed on this one.
How do the new gamjatang fried rice, lamb chops and shrimp dim sum taste?
I was starving, so I grabbed a bit of everything.
Sushi is a given, but the new potato stew fried rice and lamb are must-tries! I grabbed the rest based on whatever looked delicious, haha.
These are the new items — mushrooms, lamb chops, all of it was tender and juicy and really delicious. Definitely try them, haha.
The shrimp dim sum was packed full of filling and delicious, and the potato stew fried rice really tastes like actual gamjatang (potato and pork bone stew), haha.
The salmon and flounder sushi are now bigger
The sushi... need I say more, haha. It was so delicious. Unlike the dry, flaky fish you sometimes get at regular sushi buffets, the ingredients here were moist and chewy in a good way. The salmon and flounder sushi in particular have clearly gotten bigger, which makes them so much more satisfying to eat.
I visited for lunch so I couldn't try the raw salmon sashimi, but if you're going for dinner, you have to try it, haha. Just eating the salmon alone would be worth the price!
The feasting just kept going after that. Such a happy time, haha. To be fair to my conscience, I ate some salad too, but honestly I just kept eating nonstop, haha. In between, I refreshed with drinks and tea, and even treated myself to making an affogato. The portions I brought back kept shrinking, but my determination to fit in just one more bite never did!
Verdict after 90 minutes at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
