Today I was trying to decide what to eat for dinner in Konkuk, and since I'd been craving pizza for a while, I headed to Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch. When you're eating pizza, it's nice to have something refreshing in the middle, and the pineapple sorbet was cool and tangy, working like a palate cleanser between slices.

The sweet-tart pineapple flavor paired well with the cold sorbet texture, and since it was such a different menu item from pizza, it was great to eat in between bites. 🤍

The big advantage of half-half pizza is definitely getting to try two flavors at once! Every time I order pizza I agonize over which flavor to pick, so ordering two flavors on one pie meant everyone could pick according to their own taste.

What's especially great about Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch is that they set the pizza on a subtle candle warmer, so it stayed warm the entire time we ate it — the best~!!!!

I first tried the Toowoomba potato shrimp I'd been curious about. The rich, smooth Toowoomba-style sauce blended with the potatoes and shrimp for a savory, flavorful bite.

The shrimp gave it some texture to bite into, and the combination with the soft sauce and potatoes worked better than I expected. Taking a bite of the warm, cheesy pizza reminded me that pizza really is best eaten hot ❤️❤️❤️

The other half was salsa mushroom pepperoni. Where the Toowoomba potato shrimp was soft and savory, the salsa mushroom pepperoni leaned salty and umami, which made switching between the two flavors really enjoyable.

The salty pepperoni flavor combined with the mushroom and salsa paired really well with a highball! One side was soft and savory, the other salty and full of flavor, so I was glad I went with the half-half.
