I went to Ojingeo Seonsuchon Jamsil in the Bangi-dong food alley (방이먹자골목) for mulhoe. Here's my honest review.

Where Ojingeo Seonsuchon Jamsil is and when it opens
Ojingeo Seonsuchon Jamsil is at 21-7 Olympic-ro 32-gil, 1F, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea (60-15 Bangi-dong). It's about 600m, under 10 minutes on foot, from Exit 2 of Songpanaru Station on Line 9. Open from 3:30 PM to 3 AM.
It's inside the Bangi-dong food alley near Jamsil Station, so it was easy to find.
How long is the wait at Ojingeo Seonsuchon Jamsil?
Ojingeo Seonsuchon Jamsil gets a wait during meal times. There's a sheet at the entrance where you write down your contact info and party size in order. Just write it down as soon as you arrive.
It's popular enough that there are table time limits on weekends.
Inside the restaurant and the live fish tanks
The cool blue < Ojingeo Seonsuchon > sign is easy to spot from far away.
There's a big fish tank at the entrance with lots of fresh sashimi ingredients swimming around. They use a special tank with sterilizing and filtering functions to keep the water clean, plus a sterilization system to keep the seafood in top condition.
The interior is pretty spacious with plenty of tables and chairs. One side has a big window that makes it feel open.
There's a separated area in the back, so it looks like groups could reserve that space too.
I also spotted autographs from a lot of famous celebrities and broadcasters at the entrance.
What's on the menu at Ojingeo Seonsuchon Jamsil
Since it's a seafood specialty restaurant, you can try squid sashimi and lots of other fresh raw fish. Salt-grilled shrimp and raw shrimp sashimi are also on offer.

There's conger eel sekkoshi (thin-sliced with bones), live-fish mulhoe, squid mulhoe, flounder, rockfish, salmon, striped bream, red seabream and more, both as single items and sets. There are also small, medium and large assorted sashimi platters so you can try several kinds together.

Abalone sashimi, butter-grilled abalone, boiled squid, steamed squid, live octopus, sea squirt, sea cucumber, spoon worm, scallop sashimi, steamed scallops — all these seafood items come as singles or sets too.

After sashimi, what you crave is a spicy stew — whole rockfish maeuntang, squid stew, roe stew, clam stew, yeonpotang (light seafood hot pot), ramyeon, hoedeopbap and more are all available as stews, meals, or noodle add-ons.

There's also fried squid and shrimp, plus a wide range of drinks and alcohol.

I was craving mulhoe, so I ordered two servings of mulhoe, a hoedeopbap and a seafood ramyeon.

The free side dishes that come with the meal
Once you sit down, the basic side dishes get set out — I was surprised at how generous they were.
Cheese corn, cherry tomatoes, quail eggs, seaweed, soft tofu, baek-kimchi (white kimchi), salad, perilla leaves and more come out, along with sauces like ssamjang, chojang, soy sauce and wasabi. You can pick and choose to your taste.
Mulhoe, seafood ramyeon and hoedeopbap: how they tasted
I love mulhoe, and I felt like I hadn't had it all summer, so it kept crossing my mind. I really wanted to have mulhoe before summer ended, which is why I came to Ojingeo Seonsuchon.
The mulhoe arrived with ice cubes floating on top, looking refreshing. It was packed with red seasoning, ice, onion, cucumber and other vegetables, and plenty of raw fish.
With various kinds of sashimi and sea squirt mixed in, I ate it cold along with the seasoning and vegetables.
Soon after, the hoedeopbap and rice showed up too, also loaded with raw fish and seasoned vegetables.
I mixed in the rice and stirred it all together. Rice eaten with raw fish tastes amazing!

As part of the review event, they gave me a free extra — abalone sashimi and sea squirt. They were generous with the size, and gave me fresh ones as sashimi.

The table was set generously. You can dip the sashimi in ssamjang or chojang on its own, or wrap it in perilla leaves — both are delicious.

I was craving something warm too, so I finished with a spicy seafood ramyeon. It didn't look like plain ramyeon at all — more like a seafood stew, packed generously with big shrimp, clams and vegetables.

The ramyeon was nicely spicy and I finished it all down to the last drop.
