Hyehwa play with a pre-show audience quiz: Suspicious PT Shop

I went to Hyehwa with a friend not long ago. Restaurants and cafés are great, but this time I wanted to try something a bit different, so we caught a play. The one I saw was Suspicious PT Shop.

A lot of people are always looking up recommended Daehak-ro plays, right?

I went back and forth on what to watch too, and once it was over I totally understood why so many people mention this one as a top Hyehwa play recommendation.

Why Suspicious PT Shop is a popular Hyehwa date course

The first thing I noticed when we got to Nine Theater was just how many couples were in the audience.

There were plenty of couples on dates, and quite a few married couples too. Laughter kept breaking out all over the seats throughout the show, and the atmosphere was really lively.

So while it was fun to watch with a friend like me, I also think it's a great Seoul date spot for couples or married partners. If you're getting a bit bored of the usual movie date, I'd recommend this as a different kind of Seoul date idea.

Ages 19 and over: one of Korea's most explicit adult plays

Suspicious PT Shop is only open to viewers aged 19 and up.

Living up to its reputation as one of the most explicit shows on Daehak-ro, it's packed with elements adult audiences can really enjoy. Since it's performed by actual adult performers, it felt even more natural and immersive to watch!

I was a little nervous at first, but once the show started I couldn't stop laughing, and I completely lost track of time.

The female lead in particular had a strikingly beautiful figure and huge energy on stage. The male lead was also really good-looking, and the audience reacted enthusiastically every time he appeared.

A sequel to Suspicious Hair Salon, so expectations ran high

Suspicious PT Shop is apparently the sequel to the much-loved Suspicious Hair Salon.

Maybe that's why the story flowed so naturally and the cast's chemistry was so good. I won't go into the plot in detail since it would spoil things! There's also a photo zone set up, which is a nice touch!

But one thing's for sure: this was genuinely one of the most fun shows I've ever seen. The twists and the comedy were mixed in at just the right moments, so I stayed locked in the whole time.

Before the show starts, Suspicious PT Shop runs an audience participation event.

The actors ask questions, and if you get the answer right you win a prize — apparently a pretty popular 'adult' gift, haha.

I didn't manage to win one, sadly, but the crowd was already so lively before the show even began that it built up even more anticipation.

Getting to enjoy the show and then take photos with the cast afterward made the whole experience even more satisfying!

Being able to make these little memories on top of everything else feels like part of the charm of Suspicious PT Shop.

If you're looking for a different kind of recommended Hyehwa play, Suspicious PT Shop was a highly satisfying show.

It's fun to watch with a friend, and just as good with a partner or spouse, so I'd recommend it as a Seoul date course too.

If you're looking for an adult play that delivers both laughs and fun, this one's worth checking out at least once.

It's been a while since I enjoyed a show this much, so I want to add it to my list of recommended Daehak-ro plays!!
