Today I've got an even hotter, more unusual show review for you — the play that's all over Instagram, so popular in Daehak-ro, the one people say you can barely watch with your eyes fully open... yes, that scorching hot show!
Suspicious PT Shop showtimes: two slots a day over Chuseok
Suspicious PT Shop is located within easy walking distance from Hyehwa Station Exit 1 :) As of September, showtimes are Mon/Thu/Fri at 7pm, Saturdays and public holidays at 3pm and 6pm, and Sundays at 3pm and 6pm (biweekly).
For the Chuseok holiday, September 24–27, there are two shows a day at 3pm and 6pm :) Since the holiday is long, it's a great Daehak-ro play to catch as a date with your partner or spouse!
It's rated for adults only, 19 and up — a play strictly for grown-ups. Suspicious PT Shop is exclusively for adult audiences.
I met my husband at Hyehwa Station Exit 1, we grabbed a quick dinner, and headed to Nine Theater right on time for our reservation :)

There's a huge poster hanging up, and just looking at it, you can tell it's no ordinary show, right? I pass by Daehak-ro often and always wondered, "is this THE show?" Well today's finally the day, haha!

How to find Nine Theater and collect your tickets
Nine Theater, with its eye-catching "19" circle logo, is running Suspicious PT Shop in its basement level — a sequel to the earlier play Suspicious Hair Salon.

If you spotted the jjokgalbi (grilled short rib) signboard, you're in the right place. There's a big standee at the entrance of Nine Theater and a large banner on the building too, so it's easy to spot as you walk by!

You head downstairs and collect your ticket together in the basement waiting area.

True to its status as one of Daehak-ro's signature plays, there's even a Suspicious Hair Salon-themed space set up there!

Trying the workout gear at the Suspicious PT Shop photo zone
It's a laughter-inducing, heart-racing gym theater for grown-ups — the content was even hotter and more unusual than I expected, so I found myself locked in, not missing a single line! At the photo zone, you can actually work out, so I put my husband through a little exercise too — so much fun!

The actors' bodies were so incredible I thought "I need to work out" about twenty thousand times :)

Getting seated, and a stage built like a real gym
About 10 minutes before showtime, the door opens from the waiting area, and you're seated in order according to your seat number on the ticket!

Even the play ticket itself is suspicious. The stage is even more suspicious... it's full of gym equipment, it's basically an actual gym, haha!

True to being one of Daehak-ro's signature adult-only plays, the lighting is sultry and things get very hot indeed~~~~~ Before the show I thought "surely it won't go that far," but, uh... it really did go there. Beyond imagination! I'll leave the rest to your imagination :)

Photo rules at Nine Theater and the curtain call
No photos during the show, but you can take photos at the final curtain call! The actors' comic timing was as sharp as their bodies and acting skills, so this is a show I'd genuinely recommend to friends.
It was extra hot, and today felt like a historic anniversary for my husband and I — after about ten years together, seeing someone else's body besides each other's, haha!

The prize we won in the "my own fantasy" segment
We wrapped things up with a proper photo time with the actors! And during the show, there's a "my own fantasy" audience segment... the actor said we had the best answer and gave us a suspicious toy, plus a discount code too. Suspicious PT Shop just keeps handing out gifts left and right, haha! It really had me laughing hard and feeling touched at the same time — there's a strangely moving point to it too!
