Bossam restaurant near Jamsil Stadium for a pre-baseball meal: Manjok Ohyang Jokbal
In short
Manjok Ohyang Jokbal Jamsil Sincheon Branch is a jokbal and bossam (boiled pork wrap) restaurant a 5-minute walk from Exit 4 of Jamsil-saenae Station in Songpa, Seoul. Before a baseball game, two friends ordered the medium bossam + jaengban guksu (noodle platter) set for ₩48,000, which came with a free rice cake dumpling soup, and the portions were barely finishable between two people. This time, before watching a baseball game in Jamsil, I visited Manjok Ohyang Jokbal Jamsil Sincheon Branch, a well-known Jamsil-saenae restaurant!
On days when there's a baseball game in Jamsil, part of the fun is eating something good before or after the match, haha. This day, my friend and I wanted a solid meal before the game, so while looking for jokbal and bossam restaurants around Jamsil-saenae, we ended up here.
The portions were generous and the price felt reasonable, so it seemed like a good spot for a group too — here's my review!

Manjok Ohyang Jokbal Jamsil Sincheon Branch is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 4 of Jamsil-saenae Station.
Since it's close to the station, it's easy to reach by public transit, and there are plenty of other restaurants and bars nearby, so it'd be great for a second round in Jamsil-saenae after the meal!
The restaurant was also bigger than expected with decent spacing between tables, so it seemed good not just for friends but also for company dinners or group gatherings in Jamsil-saenae.
There's parking for about one car in front of the restaurant. I parked at Asia Park public parking lot that day and walked over.

The old-school vibe of a restaurant near Jamsil Baseball Stadium
Manjok Ohyang Jokbal is already famous as a Jamsil-saenae restaurant, and you could tell — there were tons of celebrity autographs all over the walls!
It had that feel of a place that's been running for a long time, and there were quite a lot of people actually dining there. Since it's not too far from Jamsil Baseball Stadium, it seems like a great option for anyone wanting jokbal or bossam in Jamsil-saenae before or after a game.

Menu and order — medium bossam + jaengban guksu set
I took photos of the menu, so take a look!
Jokbal (boiled pork trotters) and bossam were the main items, with a variety of dishes, plus side menus like jaengban guksu (cold noodle platter) and mul mandu (water dumplings). There was even a spicy version called bulJokbal for anyone who likes heat, haha.
We debated for a while, but the set menu looked like better value, so we went with the medium bossam + jaengban guksu set for ₩48,000.

The free rice cake dumpling soup
And here's the amazing part — Manjok Ohyang Jokbal Jamsil-saenae Branch gives you a free rice cake dumpling soup as a base dish. They also give you pepper and egg to season it as you like, and once you sprinkle in the pepper and crack in the egg, it's the perfect drinking snack 🤤 You could keep drinking forever with this combo. Perfect as a Jamsil-saenae bar too!

The side dishes were substantial too. Fresh wrap vegetables, julienned radish, and even white kimchi!

How's the bossam? The lean meat to fat ratio
The meat came out quickly, and it looked so tender just from looking at it! The ratio of lean meat to fat on the bossam was just right too, so it was really tasty 🤤 I'm sensitive to any pork smell, but there was absolutely none, so it was really delicious.
Great with kimchi or wrapped in a lettuce leaf! The meat melted in my mouth and was so soft — best bossam I've had recently, haha.

Jaengban makguksu portion and seasoning
And then the jaengban makguksu (buckwheat noodle platter) came out too!! The portion was seriously huge.

The sauce visual was insane ✨ They gave us plastic gloves so we could mix it ourselves — with all the vegetables and the big portion, the two of us barely managed to finish the medium bossam and jaengban makguksu together! If you have leftovers, you could probably take them home, and it'd also be a good fit for three people ordering this set plus one side dish.
The sauce on the jaengban makguksu was spicy-sweet and perfectly seasoned! They were generous with the sauce, so eating it nice and saucy made it even tastier, haha.

Wrap-up — who should visit
The jaengban makguksu and bossam combo is no joke! If you're looking for a Jamsil-saenae restaurant, I recommend Manjok Ohyang Jokbal Jamsil Sincheon Branch! The place is spacious and clean, making it good for group dinners in Jamsil-saenae too, and the men's and women's restrooms are separated inside! Restrooms really matter to me, so I'd definitely recommend this as a Jamsil-saenae bar too 👍
Above all, the bossam was delicious and the price was reasonable, so I highly recommend it as a jokbal and bossam restaurant in Jamsil-saenae. I'm planning to come back for jokbal next time!
