You can order easily via kiosk at this Gwanggyo Avenue France favorite, taking your time to browse the menu and pick exactly what you want. Takeout packaging is neat too, so it's great when you want to enjoy a handmade burger comfortably at home. It seems like a lot of orders come through Baedal Minjok delivery, so plenty of people seem to grab it for takeout or delivery.

From the Base Burger to chicken burgers, Hawaiian burgers, and even a wasabi shrimp burger, this Gwanggyo Avenue France spot has a wide variety of handmade burgers ready to go. With so many options, deciding what to eat is half the fun 🤭🤭 I was curious about the new Chilli Mozzarella Bar, so I ordered that too.

For a handmade burger place, the prices are pretty reasonable, which made it perfect for lunch! A satisfying, no-pressure meal that seems popular with office workers too 👍 By lunchtime I saw solo diners as well as people coming over from nearby offices for lunch.

Free potato chips at the Base Burger self-bar

Inside the store there's a self-bar, and at Base Burger the potato chips are served free, haha. Great for a little snack before the burgers come out. You get to munch on crunchy chips while waiting, so it never feels boring at this Gwanggyo Avenue France favorite — this kind of small touch feels like Base Burger's own charm.

Hungry before the burgers arrived, I reached for the Base Burger chips first! Picking at them one by one while waiting, somehow I just kept eating, haha. A simple side, but oddly addictive — perfect for when your mouth gets bored before the burgers show up 💛

Double Base Burger set and Hawaiian Burger set

Double Base Burger and Hawaiian Burger! I ordered them as sets to enjoy properly. Getting a side and a drink with the burger makes for a satisfying meal. I expected a bit of a wait since these are handmade burgers, but they came out faster than expected, so even during a hungry lunch hour there was no waiting around, haha.

The Hawaiian Burger 🍔 had a really nice combo of sweet pineapple and burger. The Double Base Burger, with two patties, was even tastier thanks to all that juiciness. Honestly, of the handmade burgers I've had recently, this was the best one!! Base Burger was tastier than the famous franchises, haha.

How many free sauces do you get?

Order a burger set or fried sides and you get to enjoy a variety of free sauces at Base Burger! House, mentaiko mayo, BBQ, ranch, honey mustard — quite the lineup. You can pick based on your taste, which makes it great to pair with the sides, haha. If there's a sauce you want, you can order it with no pressure, so I got all of them!

New item: the Chilli Mozzarella Bar

I also ordered the new Chilli Mozzarella Bar! Crispy on the outside, with mozzarella cheese stretching chewily on the inside — the texture was really great. On top of that, American chilli-style spice adds a kick that isn't greasy at all, so you keep reaching for more — you really get to feel the heat, lol. The more you chew, the more the savory cheese and spicy flavor come together — a nice bite to have alongside the burgers too.

Base Burger vs Hawaiian Burger: what is inside each one

The Base Burger is packed with a beef patty, base sauce, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onion, and tomato! The Hawaiian Burger adds bacon and sweet pineapple on top for a whole different kind of charm. The savory Base Burger and the sweet-salty Hawaiian Burger each have such a distinct flavor that it's hard to pick just one... 😭😭 They're so good I feel like I could eat both burgers by myself, hahaha.

A walk around Avenue France Gwanggyo after lunch

On a nice day, Gwanggyo Avenue France is also great for a walk! You can enjoy both dining and shopping in one place, making it a great spot for a weekend date 👍 Great burgers followed by a leisurely stroll — highly recommend it as a weekend date course‼️
