Inside Shabuway Ruwon City Cheongna Branch: roomy tables and the salad bar spread

True to its reputation as a shabu-shabu spot in Cheongna, I gasped the moment I walked in. The hall was much bigger and cleaner than I expected. It was so clean I could barely tell if it was a café or a restaurant! The table spacing was generous too, so I felt comfortable the entire meal. It seemed especially well suited for family outings or group gatherings. It'd also be a great choice for anyone wanting a quiet, private meal.

It really seemed like a place that's kept spotlessly maintained!

Three all-you-can-eat meats tender enough for kids
The best part of using the shabu-shabu salad bar at Shabuway Ruwon City Cheongna Branch was being able to enjoy unlimited fresh beef and pork. The meat quality was so good I lost count of how many refills I got. Honestly, at most all-you-can-eat places the meat tends to be tough rather than tender, but here all 3 kinds of meat were soft, which made it much better for feeding the kids than other places!

The salad bar, where you could pick out various vegetables, mushrooms, and several kinds of noodle sides to your taste, was really excellent too.
It was so full of fresh vegetables that just looking at it made you feel healthier. Besides shabu-shabu ingredients, the salad bar had all sorts of other dishes ready too.

Fried chicken and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) that kids love, plus salad and fruit for the adults — there was really nothing missing. I was busy trying to taste everything. The food overall was clean and delicious, so much so that

you really couldn't go wrong with anything you picked. If you're looking for a shabu-shabu restaurant near Gajeong Station, this would be an excellent choice.
Choosing one mild broth, then kalguksu noodles and porridge
Since we had kids with us, we chose a single non-spicy broth.

The broth gets richer the longer it simmers, and cooking fresh ingredients in it made my body feel warm all over. Eating meat and vegetables together in particular meant I kept eating without feeling greasy at all.

At the end, we made a hearty finish with kalguksu (knife-cut noodle) sides and porridge. My stomach felt like it would burst, but the taste was impossible to resist.

Finishing off with fruit and ice cream for dessert, that's a wrap haha. My favorite fruit is passion fruit and they had it, so I enjoyed it a lot heh.
