Theme Park Toon, Jeju: 3-floor webtoon theme park near the airport

I was looking for somewhere to take the kids in Jeju and ended up visiting Theme Park Toon (테마파크 툰).

It's an indoor place, so no weather worries, and there turned out to be way more to see and do than I expected — good way to spend time with the kids. Let me walk through what it was actually like!

10 minutes from Jeju Airport by car — what about parking?

It's about a 10-minute drive from Jeju Airport, so access is easy, and there's a large parking lot so no need to stress about parking. When you're moving around with kids, easy parking actually matters a lot haha.

There's a set last entry time, so if you're planning to arrive later in the day, check the time before you go!

Character details start right at the entrance

Colorful characters greeting you right from the entrance got my expectations way up lol. Wondering what kind of space we were about to walk into, and finally — in we go!

Maybe because it happened to be quiet, but while I stepped away to the restroom for a second, my name showed up out of nowhere! I really wasn't expecting that, and it made me weirdly happy haha.

Even the restroom entrance had a cute little touch! Unmistakably a restroom, but such an adorable detail you couldn't just walk past it. Now let's really head inside~

Floor 1: photo experience of becoming a webtoon lead, and media art

The first thing that welcomes you is Geonwoo's favorite 👍🏻 You pick a concept on the screen, take a photo, and boom — your whole family appears on the wall like the lead characters of a webtoon! This was so fun that I couldn't tear myself away, kept switching concepts over and over.

Go through another door and the whole mood shifts completely. Every direction transforms into a sparkling media art space! It spreads dazzlingly from the walls to the floor — I ended up just stopping to take it in for a while.

Floor 2: games, a punch machine, and making your own t-shirt

The 2nd floor isn't just for looking — there's a lot you can actually try, and I got even more excited than the kids from here on. I tried the games, took a swing at the punch machine, and it was surprisingly fun getting filmed and turning into a character on screen.

You can also pick your favorite webtoon character and turn it into your own t-shirt, so there was more to experience than I expected. And on one side there's a huge King Kong photo zone that looks like it's bursting through the wall! I think I ended up more excited than the kids, trying everything.. and in the end I got 'caught' in King Kong's hand 😂

Floor 3: Black Rubber Shoes, a giant claw machine, and a photo booth

The moment you get to the 3rd floor, Black Rubber Shoes (검정고무신) greets you~! That's such a nostalgic cartoon. You all know it, right..? I got weirdly happy the second I saw it haha.

The 3rd floor has everything from a giant claw machine to a photo booth! The all-pink claw machine grabs your attention just by its size — Geonwoo stopped in his tracks right away. Next to it there's a photo booth where you can take pictures with the characters, and floor after floor kept giving more to see and try, more than I expected.

Draw & Show: my drawn character comes alive

This is the Draw & Show space! You pick a character, draw and color it yourself, and your creation shows up exactly as you made it on a giant screen.

And this is the piece I colored myself 😂 The color combo alone is something else, right..? I put real effort in, but seeing it appear on the big screen made it even funnier. The moment my own character actually moved! I'm just not the type to walk past something like this, so I properly enjoyed it.

Avatar ON: it copies your movements

This is Avatar ON! It reads your movement in real time and the character on screen mimics you exactly. Wave an arm and it waves back, jump and it jumps too! At one point Geonwoo just flopped down flat on the floor, and the character flopped right along with him 😂 It was the unexpected moments like that which made this space so fun.

An experience with extra cost — watch out for dizziness

This experience costs extra on top of the admission fee. Still, if you're visiting with kids, it's a must-do to try together at least once! Riding it myself, it felt way more real than I expected and I properly enjoyed it — but fair warning, it can make you dizzy.. I couldn't do a second round.😂

A barbershop alley recreated straight from the webtoon

Following the scenes I remembered from the webtoon, the barbershop finally showed up! It's decorated exactly like what I remembered seeing, so I felt oddly happy the moment I saw it. From the alley leading up to it to inside the shop itself, every detail was recreated so faithfully that it was genuinely fun to touch and look around.

Every time a familiar scene came up, Geonwoo was busy explaining what this was and what that was, keeping himself the busiest person there 😆 We even went so far as to step into the jail cell at the end.

The finish line: the Toon Lounge café

Once you've seen everything and come out, it finally leads into the Toon Lounge café. The characters were sitting at the tables so naturally that at first I genuinely thought it was a mascot-costume event happening in real time 😂 Got up close, realized my mistake, and felt a little sheepish on my own.

How was it as an indoor spot on Jeju Island?

There was more to see than I expected, but what really got me was how much there was to actually try — I lost track of time wandering around. I came to entertain the kids, but at some point I was the one having more fun.. not a secret anymore, haha.

Since it's weather-proof and fully indoors, if you're looking for things to do in Jeju Island with kids, this is a place worth stopping by at least once. It's also close to the airport, so it'd work well as part of the first or last day of your trip!
