Hi everyone, it's Hayoon-mommy haha~ Lately my scalp's been feeling stuffy and my hair ends were getting so dry, so I went to a place near Ewha Station famous as an Ewha hair salon specializing in head spas, to get a bob cut and take care of my scalp and hair at the same time! Eco Revy, this Ewha hair salon, is close to Ewha Station so it's easy to get to, and as soon as I walked in, the phrase 'ECOREVI - Harmony with nature' caught my eye, showing off the brand's philosophy :) I loved the concept of caring for scalp and hair using nature-derived ingredients 👏👏 It was especially hot that afternoon, and they had a drink ready for me too ❤️

How is the hair care menu at Eco Revy Hair divided?

Eco Revy Hair's hair care menu is really finely divided. There's Safe Care, Recovery Care, Silk Botox, and Glow Botox, and you can choose step by step depending on your scalp condition and level of hair damage. The designer consulted with me and recommended what suited me, so if you're not sure, just ask — they'll explain everything well haha.

Why the Premium All-in-One Care, and what the scalp diagnosis showed

After the consultation, I decided to go with the Premium All-in-One Care (deep scaling + Rapunzel botox)! They explained that deep scaling first removes buildup, sebum, and dead skin from the scalp, followed by care that nourishes the hair. At first I just thought 'I'll do deep scaling,' but since my hair looked a bit dry too, I picked the premium care that takes care of both scalp and hair!

They started with a thorough scalp diagnosis — before the treatment, they checked my scalp condition first with a scalp diagnostic device, showing my scalp and hair roots magnified on a screen, which really built trust haha. The designer at Eco Revy Ewha explained that my scalp had some oiliness so scaling would be good, and I decided to go with scaling, plus they helped me set the right care direction based on my scalp condition, which made it easy to decide. 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

First, the bob cut. Before the scalp and hair care, they did the cut first haha.

Then for the Premium All-in-One Care, they used Eco Revy's own products, Scaling Pure Emulsion and Vital Fresh Essence, for the scalp massage and care! There was a faint aroma scent that made the whole care feel relaxing, and I loved how cool and refreshed my scalp felt haha.

First they carefully did the dead skin scaling, then softened it up with a steamer haha.

With the steamer it really felt like everything was softening properly, so refreshing and it put me in a good mood :)

After the steamer, the next care step happens — this space is normally for members with a membership to enjoy privately, but since it was empty, they let me use it :) So sweet ❤️

I also got a relaxing healing time with the shampoo and water-pool device.

How long does a cut plus head spa care take at Eco Revy Hair?

Since the Premium All-in-One Care includes hair care too, they apply nourishing treatment carefully as well haha. I'd recommend budgeting about 2.5 hours in total for the cut plus care when you visit. I arrived at 1pm and finished the cut and care at 3:30pm.
