Ewha hair salon triple bleach on long hair: Eco Revy Hair Ewha
In short
Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch is a bleaching and perm-recovery hair salon in Seodaemun, Seoul, a 1-2 minute walk from Exit 3 of Ewha Womans University Station. A friend with chest-length "long" hair paid 200,000 won for a first and second bleach plus color-correcting shampoo, then added a third bleach on the lower lengths because the top and bottom brightness did not match. The color came out exactly as she wanted, and the hair was still not badly damaged a week later.

Inside Eco Revy Hair Ewha: salon floor and consultation room
Inside, Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch has a white-toned interior with a separate consultation room, an MVG room, and a dedicated shampoo area. The space was bigger than I expected — the white interior gave it a clean, upscale, comfortable feel. What made it even better was that the stylists all greeted me kindly the moment I walked in 😊

They had a separate consultation room and MVG room set up like this! It seems like before any coloring starts, you talk through concerns or pricing questions in the consultation room.

There was also a hair-washing area set up separately on one side.

They gave us snacks and coffee too 💖 Grain bars and Lotus biscuits — they really know good taste!!! (Both are so tasty, and I love them...😍)
Eco Revy Hair Ewha bleaching and perm prices
Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch prices its services by four length tiers: short / semi-long / long / extra-long. Base prices for short women's hair are volume magic straightening ₩170,000, hair dye ₩110,000, bleaching ₩140,000, basic perm ₩90,000, and thermal perm ₩160,000!

(They told us that "extra-long" really means hair that reaches down to the waist — most people with what they'd call "long" hair are just classified as long!)
How the long-hair bleaching was done, step by step
This bleaching session at Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch was for chest-to-mid-length long hair, at the "long" tier, and one round of bleaching cost ₩200,000. Before bleaching, they first trimmed about 5cm off the ends.

For this bleaching session, my friend was the one getting the treatment instead of me!!
First bleach

They applied the bleach very carefully from scalp to ends. This is where the waiting game begins... and we waited patiently.

It was fascinating to watch the color clearly lift as time passed!

This is the mist step for the back of the hair. After applying the bleach, they let it sit for a while, then used a mist device to help the color lift evenly at the back too.
Second bleach and color-correcting shampoo

After lifting the color with the first round, they started the second bleach. Apparently if you stop after just the first round, you end up with that slightly orange tone that's, well, the most unflattering color for Korean hair... so bleaching usually goes two rounds or more!

After applying the second round of color, this is the color-correcting shampoo step. They applied it thoroughly all over the hair. They said that to keep the color brighter after bleaching, you need to keep using color-correcting shampoo consistently at home too!!

After finishing the color-correcting shampoo, the last step is heat treatment! You can already see how great the color turned out.

So this was supposed to be the finished look! But do you see in the photo how the bottom and top sections have different brightness levels?! When I pointed this out, the stylist did one more round of bleaching just on the lower section!! (Such attention to detail 🫶)
Third bleach on the lower lengths

They applied bleach one more time only to the lower section and let it sit for a bit!!
Final color and how damaged the hair was

Here's the final result after the third bleach!!! So pretty, right..?!💕
It came out exactly the color we wanted, and even a week after bleaching, the damage was less than expected! Really grateful they were so thorough hahaha
I got bleaching this time, but Eco Revy Hair is also famous for its perm-recovery treatments and head spa!! If you're around Ewha/Sinchon and need a perm, bleaching, or head spa, I'd definitely recommend a visit 💛
