The shrimp patty at bd Burger is too big to fit in one bite, so a single burger is filling on its own.

Today's post is about bd Burger, which I visited during a date in Seongsu ~!! I went in expecting a super plump shrimp burger, and it turned out even better than expected,,,!!!

Walking from Seongsu Station Exit 3 to the 2nd-floor dining room
The restaurant is about a 5-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3 along the Seongsu café street, tucked into an alley. Just look for the purple sign outside, haha.
The shop is on the 2nd floor, so you just head up this flashy staircase!! The posters are so hip!!!
This is what the inside looks like! There's a decent number of tables, and being a burger place, the turnover was fast. I saw a lot of couples on dates too! Highly recommend for a Seongsu date.

Restrooms and the self-service zone at bd Burger
For the restroom, grab the key near the entrance and head down the stairs outside the shop!
There's also a self-service zone near the entrance stocked with wet wipes, disposable gloves, forks and knives!! It's so much more convenient than having to keep asking staff for stuff.
What we ordered, the prices, and how the kiosk works

You order from the kiosk at your table and can pay right there on the spot! They were also running an event giving out corn salad for writing a review, so keep that in mind.
I went with the Big Wasabi Shrimp Burger Set and the Double Cheese Burger Set! The cheese burger was for my husband, hehe. The shrimp burger comes in regular or big size, and I'd recommend the big one~~!! It's seriously huge!!
Once your order's ready, a pickup alert pops up on the table kiosk! You just walk up to the counter yourself and grab it.
The food came out about 10 minutes after ordering!! Such a gorgeous-looking burger;; I was honestly surprised the moment it arrived — it looked so delicious!!! Look at the thickness of that shrimp,,,
I ordered the default fries and a zero-sugar cola for my set! I heard the garlic fries are also famous, so I'll try those next time! There's also eggplant fritters on the menu, but I can't eat eggplant so I passed haha. And apparently the milkshakes get a lot of praise too. If you're curious, go check it out~!
This is how the full set looks. The burger comes half-wrapped in paper so it's easier to eat. I put on the disposable gloves and ate it by hand!
Big Wasabi Shrimp Burger: is it okay if you can't eat wasabi?
This is the Big Wasabi Shrimp Burger. It's layered with salad and sauce on top and bottom. There's spicy wasabi sauce mixed in too, so it gave a bit of a nose-tingling kick when I bit in!
Can you see the size of the shrimp patty in the middle..? It didn't fit in one bite for me. Honestly I think it wouldn't fit in one bite for most adult women lol. I ate it in small bites, and once I finished it I was genuinely stuffed… the portion is massive, so be prepared.
Look how it's packed full of whole, plump shrimp! The cross-section shot of the shrimp patty,,, it's no joke. I normally never eat anything with wasabi in it, but since this is their signature, I gave it a try! The flavor was milder than I expected — even someone like me who can't handle wasabi could enjoy it just fine. It's like an occasional nose tingle, haha. If anything, it really cut the richness nicely.
Double Cheese Burger: a sweet sauce that balances the beef
This one's the Double Cheese Burger! My husband ordered it, so I only stole one bite haha.
Inside there's cheese, onion, and two patties, and unlike cheese burgers elsewhere, this one had a slightly sweet sauce! The sweetness worked really well with the burger combo!! It might be nice to order the cheese burger and the shrimp burger together and share ❤️ My pick is the shrimp burger though, haha.
There's also a full-length mirror photo zone downstairs from the shop, so we got to make a little date memory too~!! Such a happy Seongsu date,,, !!
If you're out in Seongsu, definitely try one of bd Burger's giant shrimp burgers!! Highly recommend this hearty handmade burger place!! I'll definitely be back~~!!
