Dongnae, Busan sushi restaurant with high chairs: Moshi Moshi Set 4

In short

Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch is a Japanese restaurant on the 8th floor of Lotte Department Store Dongnae in Busan, reached by crossing the pedestrian bridge from Exit 5 of Myeongnyun Station. Visiting with her niece, the writer ordered Set 4 — 18 pieces of sushi, shrimp tempura and a choice of noodles — picking udon, and enjoyed everything from the soft tofu salad served before the meal to the tuna and salmon sushi. With high chairs and partitioned seats, Moshi Moshi Sushi Dongnae works well for a meal with a child during a shopping trip.

Nice that they have set menus. I checked it out and then went in to sit down.

What we ordered: Set 4 with udon as the noodle choice

Set 4 / for 2–3 people / 18-piece sushi + shrimp tempura + noodle choice / size: the better one

I picked udon for the noodle. There was also a Naver receipt review event running — everyone, write a review and get 2 pieces of shrimp sushi!

The salad, side dishes and clear soup served before the meal

The salad was fresh and tasty, and the soft tofu was so smooth, with a nutty sesame dressing that was perfect before the meal. We basically cleared it before the food even arrived haha.

Since I went with my niece, they kindly set her up with proper cutlery too — so cute haha.

Soy sauce is set out at every table, so you can pour as much as you like. If it runs low, just pour more — very convenient.

How was the table of 18-piece sushi, udon and shrimp tempura?

The udon, shrimp tempura, and 18-piece sushi that came with the set. A full table, generously loaded. With the 18-piece sushi, all but two come in matching pairs of two pieces, so no fighting over who gets what haha.

Such appetizing-looking sushi. One bite in and yep — this place is the real deal!! Whenever anyone's craving sushi, remember: Moshi Moshi.

The udon was a fancy version loaded with fried tofu pockets, mushrooms, ham, and even shrimp! The portion filled the whole bowl, and the broth was clean and delicious too.

The shrimp tempura was chunky, and that golden fried color looked so appetizing.

Dip it in soy sauce and dig in! Crispy on the outside, with plump, tender shrimp inside — so good. Shrimp tempura would make a perfect beer snack!!

You could tell each piece of sushi was made with care. The ingredients looked fresh, and the shape on top of the rice was so clean that every piece I picked up made me happier haha.

The salmon sushi was so soft it melted the moment I ate it. The sashimi overall was thick and long-cut, which I loved.

Thick-cut salmon sushi

My personal favorite, the tuna sushi. It looked too pretty to eat, but I ate it happily anyway lol. It had a rich, fatty flavor, full of nuttiness — ㅠㅠ.

Is Moshi Moshi Sushi Dongnae good with kids? Seats and high chairs

Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch mostly has 4-person tables, but there are also seats where you can sit comfortably even alone. There are also private tables separated by partitions, which seems great for family gatherings or small get-togethers.

Quite a few guests were there with babies too — the tables are spaced out enough that I saw people comfortably eating with a stroller parked beside them. Baby chairs are available too, so it looks fine to visit with kids, and with dishes like udon, egg sushi, and shrimp tempura that are easy for little ones to eat, it seems like a spot a lot of people stop by after visiting Lotte Department Store Dongnae haha.

A great place to stop when you're hungry after shopping! I recommend 'Moshi Moshi' on the 8th floor of Lotte Department Store Dongnae 💛
