Gwanggyo café street restaurant, squid ink risotto: The European

I recently went to the Gwanggyo café street, and found this Italian restaurant with such a lovely atmosphere that I had to write about it right away. It's The European Gwanggyo.

What do the second-floor window seats look like?

Heading up to the second floor, this space appeared!! The weather happened to be great that day, so sunlight was pouring in through the floor-to-ceiling windows — the interior looked really pretty. It felt exactly like stepping into some European restaurant.

The interior is pretty and the vibe is so good that I thought this would be a perfect place for a date! It's not loud or noisy — more of a place couples should come to,,^^

Menu and kiosk ordering at The European Gwanggyo

Since this restaurant has held its ground in Gwanggyo for quite a long time, the Italian menu is really diverse! Everything looked so tempting I had a hard time deciding what to pick...

You choose your menu and order via kiosk! I ordered two things: a squid ink shrimp risotto and a Zero Coke.

After waiting about 10 minutes, the food came right out!! Wow, with the European-style interior, the soft sunlight, and the Italian dishes all coming together, the photos turned out really pretty.

Squid ink shrimp risotto: taste and portion size for 29,000 won

First off, the shrimp were huge and plump, and the springy texture was amazing!! The risotto was creamy and delicious too. Maybe because it's a squid ink risotto, it had this nutty, deep seafood aroma that blended in really well.

Next time I'd like to try the oak-fired pizza!! I heard the pizza here is genuinely delicious... but just so you know, the risotto portion was pretty small. It's ₩29,000 but the amount was really small, so I was like huh... that kind of feeling.

Is The European Gwanggyo worth it for a daytime date in Gwanggyo?

Still, the atmosphere is so nice and the photos turn out so pretty that I'd recommend it as a date course! I think it would also be nice to visit in the evening.
