I was scouting for a solo-dining spot in Jamsil for the weekend when I found this Jamsil sandwich restaurant, Town Sandwich, and decided to visit. Hours are daily 09:00 - 20:00.

Parking is available at the basement lot of the Jamsil The Sharp Star Park mall. It's 1 hour on weekdays, 2 hours on weekends — but you must ask staff for it!

A lot of restaurants around here close on Sundays (especially the ones inside Jangmi Shopping Center!!!), so it was great that this place was open on a Sunday too.

Town Sandwich menu and topping choices

This place sells delicious sandwiches and a wide range of drinks! I'd noticed it while passing by before — even on a weekend morning there were lots of solo diners and lots of delivery orders.

There are various set menus, cookies, and plenty of sandwich types. The apple jambon-beurre looked amazing too, but since it was my first visit, I went with the best-menu item, the Town Sandwich! They also sell soups — cream soup and sweet pumpkin soup.

What I really loved when choosing my sandwich was that you can pick how it's cut — in half or in thirds — and choose your own toppings, with lots of options like arugula, cilantro, egg mayo, tomato, and more. Cilantro lovers will seriously love this place!!

There were also lots of coffee, latte, and ade options. Just coffee alone had 11 kinds!!! With 7 kinds of latte and 5 kinds of ade, you could pick to your taste.

They're also running various events — like a no-lose prize draw you can enter when you buy a sandwich! First prize is a sandwich+drink+soup set coupon!! Even 5th prize, a free topping, is a great deal.

And they offer prepaid top-up here! The minimum charge starts at ₩30,000! Charge ₩200,000 and you get an extra ₩20,000 bonus. Group orders are possible too, with set configurations and consultations for customized budgets, so it looked great for get-togethers.

Merch, maybe? There were cups and stickers too. Hot sauce was also available to use freely.

What are the solo-dining seats like?

The Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch space was really well laid out for solo dining too. It's optimized for eating alone or chatting away with 2-3 people! I ate solo in the early morning and it was relaxed and really nice.

Town Sandwich with sweet pumpkin soup: the set reviewed

Here's what I ordered! Town Sandwich (₩8,800), sweet pumpkin soup (₩4,800), iced americano (₩3,900). That comes to ₩17,500 individually, but enjoying it as a set made it much cheaper.

First up, the best-menu item, the Town Sandwich!

It's packed with fresh lettuce and tomato, tasty ham and cheese — the baguette was really crispy and delicious, and the generous toppings inside filled my mouth, making it even better.

And they also gave me the baguette end piece(?), and dipping that into the sweet pumpkin soup was so good!!! The sweet and savory pumpkin soup was rich and really delicious.

Ate it all up nicely and headed back to the office, coffee in hand~

Is Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch worth a Sunday visit?

Healthy yet delicious Town Sandwich! It was really great for solo dining and also a good spot to enjoy as brunch. Perfect for nearby office workers who want a quick, simple meal!! It's not far from Jamsil Station either, and it was great for taking food to go and strolling nearby. Given how much takeout and delivery there was, it seems like it's already become a known favorite in the area! Recommending this Jamsil sandwich restaurant, Town Sandwich~
