In short
Osa Cheongdam is an izakaya on the second floor at 37 Seolleung-ro 152-gil in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, near Apgujeongrodeo Station, with terrace seats, bar seats and private rooms. On a weekday evening on the terrace, one table went through sime-saba mackerel sushi rolls (35,000 won), chawanmushi, mochi tofu, a spicy ramen with blue crab and three bottles of soju. The atmosphere and the food both held up, making Osa Cheongdam an easy pick for a Cheongdam date or a work dinner.

I finally went to Osa Cheongdam, a bar in Cheongdam! It turns out to be super popular... I booked on a weekday and was still surprised to hear the private rooms were completely full. That's how loved Osa Cheongdam is. It has a terrace, so with the air this cool right now, it's a Cheongdam bar you need to visit before it gets any colder 👍👍

Where is Osa Cheongdam, and what is the building like?
Osa Cheongdam sits on the 2nd floor of 37 Seolleung-ro 152-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, above Cheongdam Schedule. The vibe is insane. Even from a distance it hits you. Since it has a terrace, it's perfect for fall like this.

And there's an elevator. Haha, no risk of tripping down the stairs after drinking. So good!!!!!! Such a good drinking spot ❤️❤️

The terrace at Osa Cheongdam, one of the Apgujeongrodeo terrace bars
This is Osa Cheongdam's terrace seating — isn't the vibe amazing? I've had plenty of drinks in Gangnam Station, Apgujeongrodeo, and Cheongdam, and honestly Osa Cheongdam's terrace is spacious, the interior is pretty and upscale, and the food is top-tier too. There are a lot of bars with terraces in Apgujeongrodeo, but for an open, airy vibe, this place is easily top 3!!

Inside Osa Cheongdam: interior and bar seats
This is the interior vibe of Osa Cheongdam. There are bar seats too! Looks like they spent real money on the interior. I love this kind of interior, it feels so good. If you're planning a date in Cheongdam with your girlfriend, come somewhere like this.

There's a mirror right when you step off the elevator. Check your look.

At the bar seats, the chefs work right in front of you. It almost feels like you're at an omakase spot haha.

Are the private rooms good for a Cheongdam-dong work dinner?
They told me the private rooms at Osa Cheongdam were fully booked even on the weekday I visited. The walk to the rooms already feels great... This would be a great private room bar for a Cheongdam-dong work dinner or a gathering!

Seriously neat and clean... you can feel how well-maintained this spotless private room is.

This is the terrace seat we were guided to. The vibe here is amazing too — a 200 out of 10 kind of atmosphere. Even the soft mini lighting adds to the good feeling.

Sime-saba mackerel sushi rolls, 35,000 won: how much do you get?
Osa Cheongdam's sime-saba mackerel sushi is 35,000 won. I had it once at an omakase and it was good, so I ordered it here! As written, it's 35,000 won, and the portion is bigger than expected! The pieces themselves aren't that many, but both the mackerel and the rice are stacked on thick.

Soju served in a little jug
Guess what we ordered? A new round. When you order more, instead of just handing over the bottle, they pour it into this black jug!! We ordered about 3 bottles and every time they served it this way. Even this small touch felt great — like being treated well haha.

Chawanmushi (Japanese steamed egg custard)
We ordered chawanmushi, a Japanese-style steamed egg. It's the kind you'd see at omakase, but since they had it on the menu here, I figured it'd make a good drinking snack, so I ordered it!! It has a jiggly, pudding-like texture.

My friend spilled some. Told her to just scoop it up and eat it.

Eight pieces of unusually thick sime-saba mackerel
The sime-saba mackerel sushi looks incredible. It comes with 8 pieces total, and look at the thickness — it's really thick.

I'm bad with fishy flavors, but honestly this had zero fishiness. Savory and salty, plus that rich, oily texture unique to mackerel came through in the thickness. My friend loved it and said so.

Soy sauce is provided one per person. The vibe is just so good...

Mochi tofu and spicy blue crab ramen
Osa Cheongdam's mochi tofu comes topped with honey and pecans. I ordered it because I wanted mochi tofu. They drizzled a lot of honey on it, but I wanted more, so I asked and the kind server gave me extra!! The pecans are super sweet. The mochi tofu is soft, sweet, and gentle... it pairs so well with soju, an addictive kind of flavor.

My friend wanted something with broth, so we ordered the ramen. The broth was as plentiful as the Han River, and I drank it down happily — it was spicy-hot but not too spicy. It leans more toward hearty spiciness than sharp heat, making it great as a hangover cure. Just praise it.

A whole crab goes into it, haha. It's genuinely refreshing and clean-tasting — instantly cures a hangover.
Is Osa Cheongdam worth a visit? Final verdict
It's been a while since I drank this happily and had so much fun that I broke a 4-month streak of not drinking and finished 3 whole bottles at Osa Cheongdam. It was such a good time. Want a Cheongdam bar with a killer atmosphere? This is the place. A choice you won't regret.
