Milk brown wedding photo color at Levia Hair, a Bucheon hair salon
In short
Levia Hair Bucheon Branch is a wedding hair consulting salon in Bucheon, Gyeonggi, on the 3rd floor of the City Office building in front of Bucheon City Hall. One week before a wedding photo shoot, Manager Sora, who has wedding-industry experience, applied a full-head dye in a shade between milk brown and ash brown with the red tones taken out, pulling the blotchy old color left on the ends into one even tone. Levia Hair Bucheon Branch is worth a look for brides near Bucheon City Hall deciding on color for their photo shoot or ceremony.

Levia Hair Bucheon Branch has a genuinely upscale feel.

Inside Levia Hair: seats with a Bucheon City Hall view
The inside of Levia Hair Bucheon Branch was clean, luxurious, and beautifully organized.
I'll admit I sometimes go to the salon looking forward to how I'll look when I leave — but I also hope my slightly ridiculous mid-treatment face is a little hidden from view, and the seating here felt thoughtfully arranged with that in mind.
Certain treatments let you face outward toward the view. With Bucheon City Hall and Jungang Park right in front, the scenery was pleasant and green.

The products they use and sell were all displayed with information, which felt transparent and genuine.

Why dye a week before a wedding photo shoot?
I stored my belongings, put on a gown, and was shown to a seat. With my wedding photo shoot just a week away, I came to Levia Hair Bucheon Branch for a dye job suited to the shoot. My old color was still lingering at my ends, leaving my hair looking blotchy, so I wanted to take this chance to do a full-head dye and unify it all.

For a salon welcome drink, they had a surprisingly wide selection of coffee, tea, and desserts ready.

Thoughtful wet wipes, simple snacks, and the iced Americano I ordered arrived.
This is the state of my hair before the dye.
I still vividly remember the shock of a previous salon giving me mismatched color between roots and ends, so I was a little nervous going into this dye too. (No experience with black or tone-down color before!)

Consultation with Manager Sora: milk brown without the red
I decided to trust my color to Manager Sora, well known for wedding hair. Manager Sora has an impressive background in the wedding industry, known for pulling styles that suit the ceremony or photo shoot environment, and for finding the right color and mood for each individual.
We had a quick consultation about the dye. After checking the reference photos I brought and aligning on the direction, the dye process began.
She applied scalp protector carefully before starting. Since wedding dye colors aren't always dark, and lighter colors can put more strain on the scalp, scalp protector seemed essential. Otherwise, I'd recommend not washing your hair beforehand.
We settled on a shade somewhere between red-tone-free milk brown and ash brown.

Dyeing really seems to be one of the treatments most dependent on the designer's hand. Every designer mixes their dye ratios differently, so ahead of an important event like this, I think it's best to go with someone skilled and experienced.

How the dye was applied, with the roots timed separately
Manager Sora stayed with me responsibly from start to finish. She kept the conversation going throughout so it never got boring. I'm a bit shy around new people and tend to talk less when uncomfortable, but Manager Sora led things with such an easygoing atmosphere, keeping the topics light and pressure-free.
She applied dye to the hair away from the roots first, then after a time gap and a check, worked the color up to the roots.

Once the roots were fully covered, I really felt self-conscious, haha. It helped a lot that the seating was arranged so my embarrassing face wouldn't cross paths with other customers.

An intern carefully wiped dye off my skin, checking closely whether anything felt stingy or itchy — I appreciated the attentiveness.

A head spa massage-chair bed in the shampoo area
After another hair check, I was guided to the shampoo room. There were three shampoo beds total — two regular ones, and one head spa bed built as a massage chair. Getting a full-body massage during a head spa sounds like it would maximize the relaxation.
After the shampoo, I returned to my seat and had my hair dried carefully. While drying, she also shared handy care tips for my hair, which should make future upkeep easier.

The finished milk brown color for wedding photos
The finished wedding photo shoot dye!
Neither too bright nor too dark, the soft color completely changed my overall image.
With the tone now even throughout, my look gained a solid three spoonfuls of tidiness.

I feel like I ended up with an elegant, refined look. It was a day that reminded me all over again how much hair color shapes a person's overall image and complexion.
