Frizz that stayed even after blow-drying: why I booked a repair clinic

Even clumsy hands can do beauty, and so can I :)

Lately, after washing my hair, the ends have felt especially dry and frizzy, and even after blow-drying, that messy feeling lingers ㅠㅠ

Especially in photos, the flyaways and frizz show up even more clearly, so I decided it was time to get proper care instead of just doing treatments at home.

So this time I went to Levia Hair in Bucheon! What I got was the repair clinic, which is designed to calm and settle hair that feels dry and frizzy overall :)

Levia Hair Bucheon Branch is at 3F, City Office, 221 Gilju-ro, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.

It's about 232m from Exit 5 of Bucheon City Hall Station, so it was easy to get to by public transit. The building has a Burger King and Paik's Coffee on the first floor, so it wasn't hard to find even on my first visit.

They said bookings before 10am need to be made by phone or KakaoTalk by 9pm the day before, so if you want an early morning appointment, keep that in mind!

What is the salon interior like?

The moment I walked into Levia Hair Bucheon Branch, I was surprised by how much bigger the space felt than I expected. Everything was in white tones, so it felt bright and clean overall, and the seats weren't cramped.

The bag storage area and waiting area were also well organized. There was a large window too, so it was fun to look out at the scenery while getting my hair done.

Clinics tend to take a bit longer to sit through, right? But since the space felt open and airy, it didn't feel stuffy at all, so it was really comfortable :)

Drinks and snacks: my first mugwort flower tea at a hair salon

Once I settled into my seat, they brought me a drink and a snack! There were several drink options, and I chose mugwort flower tea.

This was my first time seeing mugwort flower tea at a hair salon, so I knew right away I had to try it haha. Sipping it warm while waiting for the clinic was surprisingly nice.

Sipping little by little while getting my hair done made the time go by so much faster! They also gave me a snack, so I could nibble on something and relax in between :)

Hair condition consultation before the treatment

Before starting the repair clinic, they first checked the condition of my hair. Overall dryness was a concern for me, but especially toward the ends, the dryness and frizz bothered me the most.

Even after combing, the ends wouldn't fall neatly and spread out every which way ㅠㅠ Seeing it in photos made the frizz look even more obvious than I usually felt it, so I was glad I decided to get the repair clinic.

How does the repair clinic at Levia Hair work?

First, they washed my hair thoroughly in the shampoo room. After washing, they carefully applied the treatment product all over my hair.

They paid especially close attention to the ends and the frizzy areas that bothered me most. Once the product was fully applied, they did heat processing so it could absorb well into the hair!

I was comfortably relaxing and sipping mugwort flower tea during this time haha. The process went shampoo → treatment application → heat processing, and they checked my hair condition carefully along the way.

How my hair ends changed after the repair clinic

After the clinic, once my hair was dried, it felt so much calmer and more settled overall compared to before! Especially the ends no longer looked spread out like before and fell more smoothly, which I really liked.

It also felt softer to the touch than before, and most of all, the flyaways and frizz were much less visible after drying, making my whole head look neater. I liked this kind of overall settled look more than a dramatic style change!

Worth it if dry, frizzy hair is your concern

During times like this when your hair keeps feeling frizzy and stays messy even after drying, getting a clinic like this really does refresh your mood. The dryness and spreading at the ends bothered me especially, and after the repair clinic, everything looked calm and settled overall, which I loved.

The salon was spacious and bright, and with the mugwort flower tea and snacks, I got to relax comfortably during the treatment. The process of shampoo, treatment application, and heat processing went step by step, so it never felt complicated. If you've been tying your hair up more often because of frizz, or the ends have kept bothering you, getting proper care like this really changes how you feel when you style your hair :)
