Kid-friendly cake café in Jangho-won, Icheon: plum smoothie at Lapins

Today I'm introducing Lapins, a dessert café in Jangho-won, Icheon that was such a great spot for a date~♡

I came out with a friend and a kid to Lapins, an Icheon dessert café in Jangho-won known for its delicious handmade cakes. There was a spacious, relaxed parking lot right in front of the store, so parking was easy. Since it's located in the commercial section of an apartment complex, Lapins is a dessert café that's beloved by the local residents in Jangho-won, Icheon.

Inside Lapins: white interior and wide table spacing

Walking into Lapins in Jangho-won, the gorgeous white-toned interior gives off such brightness — it was so pretty against the bright weather that day!! The table spacing was nice and wide, which I really liked, and the relaxed table layout was also great for three people to sit and enjoy.

My friend and I especially spent a good while looking at the stylish speaker set up next to the order counter, and I got totally absorbed just staring blankly at the plant arrangements for a while — it felt so good!!

Handmade desserts in the Lapins showcase

Lapins, an Icheon dessert café that's become quite word-of-mouth famous in the neighborhood for its handmade cakes~ Next to the order counter was a big refrigerated showcase, filled with truly mouthwatering handmade cakes on display.

From tarts to financiers to slice cakes, Lapins in Icheon had it all~ Just looking at them, you could tell how delicious they'd be — the visuals were honestly insane!!

These were the desserts available on the day I visited. The drink lineup was also solidly put together — Lapins really was a tastefully composed Icheon dessert café.

After ordering, my kid's teacher and my elementary-schooler niece got lost in a selfie session with the pretty backdrop! Both of them kept striking cute angles so playfully that I ended up just watching, spaced out, for a while~🥰

The Basque cheesecake and drinks we ordered at Lapins in Icheon arrived, and honestly the cheesecake looked so mouthwatering — you could really see how dense and creamy it was!!

How does the Basque cheesecake at Lapins taste?

This handmade Basque cheesecake was so soft, rich, and delicious — genuinely a densely creamy Basque cheesecake!! Both the kids and the adults kept letting out exclamations as we ate together — it was truly that good!!

Plum smoothie and blue grapefruit ade at Lapins

Refreshing ade and smoothie. The plum-based smoothie was something I'd never had at a café before, and it really suited my taste!! It was such a sweet, delicious plum smoothie, and the blue grapefruit ade was also super refreshing and sweet — this place is a blue grapefruit ade destination!!

Who should visit Lapins in Icheon?

It was so satisfying to eat well and spend a fun time surrounded by all the green plants at Lapins, this Icheon dessert café~~ It's a great spot for a date, and it's also a great spot for a family outing!! If you visit and try the handmade cakes, I think you'll end up thinking about them again!!
