I occasionally have plans in Sinnonhyeon, but since it's a business district, it's surprisingly hard to find a decent meeting spot. This time I got lucky and found a rare, atmosphere-filled brunch place in otherwise stark Gangnam, so I wanted to share it.

A 5-minute walk is totally manageable — the accessibility is great 👍 And a lot of brunch places open late in the morning, which can make timing awkward, but The Mignon Seoul opens at 10am, so it can easily cover an early weekend meetup too.
The red exterior catches your eye from far away — it's so pretty. This spot alone felt totally like an overseas vibe. A stroller parked outside somehow added to the atmosphere too.
Inside the two floors: how many people fit at each table?
The interior of The Mignon Seoul is really stylish and pretty too. It's a casual dining restaurant that leans into a luxurious, modern feel.
I loved how light pours in through the big windows — it's perfect for a relaxed weekend brunch spot. Seating ranges from 2-person to 4-person to 6-person tables, so it seemed great for blind dates, regular dates, or group gatherings. It especially seemed great for wedding invitation gatherings — I actually saw quite a few people around me doing just that.
The building has two floors. The first floor has a cute, cozy feel, while the second floor is more spacious and relaxed.
The chairs are soft and comfortable, and the marble tables are so pretty, right? ✨
The cutlery and cups were pretty too. Overall the space showed a lot of thoughtful attention to detail.
What comes in The Mignon Seoul's brunch set menu
The Mignon Seoul's menu is thoughtfully built around core dishes — brunch items, salads, pasta, risotto, gnocchi, mains, and appetizers. Since the set menu felt like a satisfying way to try things, we went with that.
Seasonal fruit ricotta salad
The seasonal fruit ricotta salad came loaded with a variety of fruits — kiwi, peach, tomato, apple, and more. Both the fruit and the vegetables were fresh, which made for a great light start. Usually when you order a ricotta salad, the amount of ricotta cheese is disappointingly small, but here it came generously piled on, which was satisfying. The portion was decent too, so it was just right as part of the set.
Truffle white ragu pasta
The truffle white ragu pasta had a truffle aroma that wasn't overpowering — just subtle enough to really stir up the appetite. There was plenty of ragu mixed in too, giving nice bites of texture throughout. The cream sauce was savory and delicious, making this one of the most satisfying dishes 🤤
Popover pancake
The popover pancake is a pancake puffed up thick like a cake. It came topped generously with fruit, vegetables, cheese, and jamón, making for a varied and enjoyable dish.
Wine list, restrooms and other amenities
We didn't order alcohol since we visited during the day, but The Mignon Seoul stocks a variety of wines, which seems great for pairing with an evening meal. It felt like plenty of a space to visit for an anniversary and set a special mood.
The restrooms inside are separated by gender and located on each floor, which was convenient to use.
