Gangnam Station restaurant with open windows for evening dates: Brivit

I visited Brivit Gangnam Station, a pasta spot near Gangnam Station. I remembered the food at Brivit Seongsu being really good, so I went in with high hopes.

Where is Brivit Gangnam Station, and where do you park?

Brivit Gangnam Station is near both Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station. There are lots of cafés and bars nearby, so it seemed perfect as a first stop before a night out. Just note there's no dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to use a nearby public parking lot.

Why Brivit Gangnam Station suits a blind date or wedding-invite gathering

We went for an evening date, and since the weather was nice, all the window-side windows were open, which made the atmosphere even better. Inside it's bright and cheerful, and clean too. Overall the vibe was quite charming.

The window seats looked really lovely too. It's the kind of Gangnam Italian restaurant that works well for both a blind date and a regular date. And the moment we walked in, I thought this would be a great place for a Gangnam wedding-invitation gathering.

There's a private space toward the back. Booking ahead for that seemed like a great idea. It's so lush and green — pretty, like a café!

What are the seats and noise like at Brivit Gangnam Station?

Most of the tables are for four, but if you mention it when booking, they'll probably push tables together for larger groups too.

We sat at a 2-person table, and even with people on both sides, the space didn't echo much and wasn't too loud, so we had no trouble talking. There was also enough room on the table for two dishes and drinks without feeling cramped.

Brivit Gangnam Station menu and prices

True to a solid pasta and Italian restaurant, they also have well-priced set menus. We ordered the Brivit steak and the spicy vongole oil pasta, plus a zero-sugar cola.

As you can see in the photo above, the prices are ideal for a Gangnam wedding-invitation meetup. There's a wide range — steak, pasta, risotto, gnocchi, sides — plus drinks and highballs. Most dishes fall in the ₩10,000–30,000 range.

They're also running a review event, so if you're interested, definitely take part and get a little extra with your order!

Pickles and water are self-serve. It was nicely kept and tidy, which I liked.

How does the spicy vongole oil pasta taste?

The pasta came out first. It had been a while since I'd had vongole (clam) oil pasta, so I was really looking forward to it — and it looked even better than I expected! Loaded with clams and dusted with cheese, it looked really delicious.

It's a spicy pasta made with Brivit's own spicy, punchy vongole sauce. The heat level is just right — spicy but not uncomfortable. They said you can also order it less spicy.

True to a good Gangnam pasta place, the noodles were cooked just right, and there were plenty of plump clams.

Great bite, and well-seasoned with a spicy, savory kick — very satisfying.

Brivit steak: the cheese waterfall and Yorkshire pudding

If you visit Brivit Gangnam Station, you have to try this steak. They pour a cheese waterfall over a thick-cut steak, served with nicely grilled vegetables and Yorkshire pudding.

The Yorkshire pudding isn't actually pudding — it's bread. Bigger than expected, crisp outside and soft and chewy inside.

Underneath the steak is a special sauce mixed with meat juice and vegetable juice. Both the steak and the Yorkshire pudding taste great dipped in that sauce, and also great with the cheese on their own.

Honestly I worried it might be too rich, but paired with the vongole pasta and the cola, it wasn't heavy at all — we ate it all happily.

They also serve whole roasted garlic and grilled green onions to suit Korean tastes, and that's a nice extra treat. Great combination. The cheese is soft, almost like cream. So if you visit Brivit Gangnam Station, definitely try both the pasta and the steak!!

This was a great pasta spot to visit near Gangnam Station. If you're looking for a place for a Gangnam wedding-invite gathering or blind date, give it a try. It'll be more convenient if you book ahead.
