Mentsuru Euljiro Branch after work
Today I’m introducing “Mentsuru Euljiro Branch,” a great ramen restaurant near Euljiro Station!

I visited after work on a weekday, and it was already full! Still, the turnover was quick, so I didn’t have to wait long!

You order first at the kiosk, then go in! Open year-round, with no break time.

There are lots of offices in Euljiro, so I saw quite a few people coming for a meal after work like me! There were lots of international visitors too! (Solo dining is possible.)

- Shio ramen (salt)
- Shoyu ramen (soy sauce)
- Spicy shoyu ramen
- Tori paitan (rich broth)
- Motsu ramen (beef offal)
- Cold tsukemen (summer limited edition)
- Abura soba (oil-tossed noodles)
- Horumon-don (beef large-intestine rice bowl)
- Gyudon
- House-made karaage
- Fried gyoza
There were so many choices that we wondered what to get, but we ordered tori paitan, motsu ramen, and two pieces of karaage!

What are the solo seats and table seats like?
There are solo seats like this, as well as table seats! Just tell a staff member how many people are in your party and they’ll show you to a seat!!

There are two 2-person tables and two 4-person tables! Staff are always on hand and clear tables super quickly, which I think makes the turnover even faster!

Pickled radish is set out too, and it goes so well with ramen! You can refill it yourself whenever you run out, which was really convenient!

They’re also running a Naver receipt-review event! You can choose a soda, gyoza dumplings, or an ade.

Medium-spicy motsu ramen and tori paitan
Motsu ramen ₩15,000 Tori paitan ₩12,000 You can adjust the spice level, so we chose medium! (They say it is about as spicy as Shin Ramyun.)

Mentsuru, a ramen restaurant near Euljiro Station, has seriously gorgeous-looking bowls. Their ramen is made with chicken broth: tori means chicken, and paitan is a rich, milky-white broth simmered for a long time with chicken bones or meat, making it thick and creamy.

Tori paitan with rich chicken broth
Just looking at it, the ₩12,000 tori paitan seemed incredibly rich. It was packed with chashu too, and since it was medium-spicy, I could eat it without it feeling greasy at all!

Motsu ramen loaded with torch-seared offal
This presentation is honestly insane,,, This one was also Shin Ramyun-level spicy, but the generous sliced chilies gave it an extra kick! Even though it had offal, it was not greasy at all, and I thought it had a slightly spicy tom yum goong-like flavor too!

My husband’s motsu ramen was really packed with bean sprouts and offal! They gave the outside another pass with a torch, so we could enjoy offal that was less greasy and nicely chewy, and the broth was truly outstanding!

There were quite a lot of noodles, so I was busy eating mine, while my husband finished his and added a bowl of steamed rice too. (Steamed rice is free.)

Karaage with tartar sauce
Our two pieces of karaage arrived too! (But they gave us three, which was such a sweet little surprise.) Just looking at it, you could tell it would be crispy!

It was so delicious dipped in tartar sauce! If you like karaage, make sure you order it!

The steamed rice is served in an easy-to-eat portion, and you can get a refill if you need more, so keep that in mind!

We scraped our bowls clean at Mentsuru Euljiro Branch, a great ramen restaurant near Euljiro Station.
