In short

Daily Fix Euljiro is an American diner near Cheonggyecheon Stream in Jung-gu, Seoul, serving handmade burgers with 100% Hanwoo beef patties. Daily Fix after a Cheonggyecheon walk

The weather has been so sunny lately that I went for a lovely walk along Cheonggyecheon Stream. And after walking... I was hungry, haha. Then I happened to find this famous handmade-burger spot where chefs formerly from Michelin restaurants in New York grill the patties themselves!! I headed to Daily Fix, a place that has become a word-of-mouth favorite near Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station.

While looking beneath a shelf lined with assorted whiskey bottles, I found a frame that made me do a double take! It held a carefully framed handwritten signature from BTS's RM. A famous star was impressed enough to visit in person—my expectations for this Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station spot went way up!!

On the ordering tablet, the restaurant's special history was explained in an easy-to-read way. Burgers with 100% Hanwoo beef patties presented by chefs from New York Michelin three- and two-star restaurants—wow~~ It also said they won second place at the Korea Burger Championship and were endorsed by Davichi's Kang Min-kyung, so I was really looking forward to this Cheonggyecheon favorite.

Hanwoo patty burger and thick-cut fries

After a short wait, my tempting main dish and side of fries were ready. They arrived with such effortless casualness that I somehow felt like I was really in America.

Look at that cute, luscious handmade burger sitting on the plate. Black sesame seeds dot the glossy bun, making it look even more delicious ㅠ I gently touched the bun, and it had that soft, fluffy springiness of something freshly baked.

The yellow cheese melting so beautifully and that thick patty—such a sight~! There was also a generous layer of house-made smoked bacon, carefully smoked for a lovely smoky flavor. As you would expect from a 100% Hanwoo beef patty, its savory meatiness and rich flavor delighted all the senses.

I wanted to inspect the burger's filling more closely, so I cut it neatly in half with a knife. Between the moist buns were layers of fresh onion, cheese, smoked bacon, and a packed Hanwoo beef patty. The second I took a huge bite, rich juices burst all through my mouth and I could not help smiling ㅠㅠ

The fries I ordered on the side were thick-cut rather than skinny. Fragrant parsley flakes were sprinkled over the crisp, golden fries, haha, and the plate was piled so generously that one order would probably be enough for two people!!

I dipped a freshly fried chip deeply into the sweet-and-tangy ketchup, and it was pleasantly crisp on the outside while the inside was fluffy and soft—the potato's natural texture was perfectly alive. Alternating bites of burger and fries, I finished everything in no time without getting tired of it.
