Gijang lunch with grapefruit ade and abalone risotto: Bueokgan

Today I'm sharing my review of Bueokgan (BUUK), a Western-style restaurant that's a Gijang lunch favorite, along with the full menu and price info. I went on a trip to Gijang last weekend, and since I wanted a good lunch, I searched Naver and found out there was a Western restaurant that makes a really good abalone cream risotto, so I went to check it out myself. The staff were all kind and the vibe was upscale, but what I liked most was that the food was genuinely delicious — this ended up being my favorite lunch spot. It's inside the Busan Premium Outlets, so it's great for shopping and also a nice date spot.

Where is Bueokgan in Shinsegae Premium Outlets, and is parking free?

Bueokgan Restaurant is located across from the Daiso building at Busan Shinsegae Premium Outlets, on the left side of the building with the System and wine shops. It's about a 2-minute walk from the outlet entrance, so it's easy to get to. For parking, you can use the outlet parking lot for free. There's plenty of spacious indoor and outdoor parking, so I parked without any hassle!

This is a directly operated store of the Bueokgan brand, located inside Shinsegae Premium Outlets in Gijang, Busan. I heard it's not just a restaurant but aims to be a space where dining and atmosphere come together as one experience. As a well-known spot at Busan Shinsegae Premium Outlets, it's designed to fit right into your shopping route, making it a comfortable choice for couples on a date, family meals, tourists, and group visits alike.

What the inside of Bueokgan Restaurant feels like

Here's what the interior of Bueokgan, the Gijang lunch spot, looks like in the photos I took myself. It's a spacious, comfortable, and clean interior, making it easy to dine here. The atmosphere is nicely upscale too, so it's the perfect Western restaurant for a date after shopping.

Abalone cream risotto, pumpkin soup and Caesar salad: how they tasted

I ended up ordering these three dishes. For a drink I got one grapefruit ade, and for food, the three dishes I most wanted to try: abalone cream risotto, pastry sweet pumpkin soup, and napa cabbage Caesar salad, plus one drink! Every dish looked amazing from the start!!

The abalone cream risotto was delicious, made with tender abalone and a cream sauce using abalone innards!! I'd tried a napa cabbage Caesar salad for the first time recently in Apgujeong and loved it, so I ordered it here too. It came with poached egg, sun-dried tomato bacon, and plenty of cheese on top of grilled napa cabbage, and it was so good!! The pumpkin soup was also warm and sweet — GOOD!

Is Bueokgan worth it for a Western lunch in Gijang?

If you're looking for a Western restaurant in Gijang with a great atmosphere and delicious food, definitely give Bueokgan Restaurant a visit!! The food here is REALLY good!!
