I went to the Busan Shinsegae Outlet to shop and ended up revisiting Bueokgan, where I'd had a satisfying meal before. Last time I went with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. I noticed a lot of families dining with kids there and remembered the food being pretty good overall, so this time I brought my husband and daughters along too.

Arriving at Bueokgan at 11:30am: no wait, straight to a table
The main goal of the day was shopping! But you can't shop properly on an empty stomach, haha. So before we started, we decided to fill up at Bueokgan first. We got there around 11:30am, and even though it was still early for lunch, there were already several family tables, and more customers kept coming in while we ate. Being inside the outlet mall makes it convenient to eat while shopping, and there were plenty of families with kids there too.
Three à la carte dishes instead of a set menu at Bueokgan
Last time we had the family set, but this time my husband and daughters each wanted something different that didn't fit the set combos, so we ordered à la carte instead.

Carbonara is a must whenever you eat out with kids, right? At our house it's my husband's favorite. The sauce is savory and smooth, so it's easy for our daughter to eat too.
The roasted cabbage beside the tenderloin steak our eldest called "the cabbage of my life"
The tenderloin steak was our eldest's pick — a flavor already vouched for from our last visit. The steak itself is really good, but it comes with a whole roasted cabbage as a side vegetable, and personally, I remembered that cabbage being so tasty last time. Our eldest took one bite and said—
Mom! The cabbage is the highlight! It's the cabbage of my life!
I knew she'd like it, but I didn't expect her to put it quite like that... hahahaha.

Our second daughter wanted pizza, so we ordered the mildest option, the basil margherita.
What to order at Bueokgan when you come with kids
Sharing among several of us, the menu combo worked out well. If you're visiting with kids like we did, ordering one pasta, one pizza, and one steak to share among the group seems like a solid setup. This was our second visit to the same place, and it was satisfying again.
Shopping the Gijang outlet after lunch at Bueokgan
With our stomachs full, it was time for real shopping to begin! Since a holiday was coming up, I'd received a gift certificate, so I bought myself a pair of loafers. My kids had been living in Crocs all summer, and when I finally put sneakers on them, my second daughter said her shoes felt small — her feet must have grown while she was stuck in Crocs, haha. So we stopped by Nike and got each of them a pair of sneakers. Mom got loafers, the kids got sneakers each, and we headed home happy.
Since its expansion, Busan Shinsegae Outlet has become a go-to family shopping spot where we can check out kids' clothes and shoes and also handle a meal all in one trip. If you want to eat well before or after shopping like we did, I'd recommend Bueokgan, a Busan Shinsegae Outlet favorite. Following our last visit, this family trip was satisfying too — a revisit-worthy spot. Would go back 100% ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
