My husband and I went to a café and bakery fair and ate a ton of desserts and coffee, but then we started craving rice, so we went out for sushi! We visited Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station, which boasts the wild price of ₩1,990 for every single plate!!
Honestly, the price was so low that I was a little worried about the quality before we went 🤔 But once we actually got there, I was completely satisfied!!

Where is Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station?
Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station is a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant close to Exit 2 of Seolleung Station. The address is 2F, 10 Seolleung-ro 86-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Is there a wait at 1:30 p.m. on a Sunday?
We got to Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station around 1:30 p.m. on a Sunday and were seated right away with no wait. The interior was spacious as soon as we walked in, and I noticed there was a waiting area too, so it seems there are busier times when you do wait~!

There are table seats if you come with a group, but since it was just the two of us, we were shown to the counter seats. The chefs were making sushi nonstop~ The moment we sat down and saw all the gorgeous sushi going by on the belt, I got hungry instantly!😮
Every plate 1,990 won: how many pieces do you get?
At Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station, every single plate is a flat ₩1,990, so you can just eat freely without checking a price chart — such a huge plus! 👍

What surprised me most was that the basic, popular fish sushi like salmon or flounder actually came with 2 pieces per plate. ✨ At this price, in this economy, getting two pieces is seriously incredible value, right?! Of course, the pricier premium sushi or ones with special toppings came with just 1 piece, but overall the ingredients were really generous! 🥰

Fruit and even dessert plates kept coming around on the belt too. The staff were really kind, refilling our clear broth whenever we asked and taking good care of us throughout the meal!

Is Sushi Ian N good for families with kids?
Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station also showed a thoughtful touch for families! They offer free fries for child customers. 🍟 It's a place you can feel totally comfortable bringing kids to, so I'd highly recommend it as a spot for a family meal out!
How to order sushi that isn't on the belt
Our first plate was salmon sushi!!! My favorite salmon sushi wasn't showing up on the rotating belt, so I looked around a bit!👀 Turns out everyone wasn't just waiting on the belt — they were ordering directly from the chef for whatever they wanted! If the sushi you want isn't on the belt, you can just order it straight from the chef and they'll make it fresh on the spot👨🍳

Eating it this way was even better because it was freshly made, so it tasted way more delicious!

Laver shrimp uni sushi! This one was also secretly amazing~~!!

How was the shari (seasoned sushi rice)?
This is the sushi my husband grabbed off the belt! haha The most important part of sushi is the rice (shari), right? At Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station, the rice grains weren't clumpy — they were light and fluffy — and well seasoned, so it paired perfectly with the raw fish!🍣

The premium sashimi came with 1 piece, the conch was tasty too, and the egg sushi was decent as well~~

And then more salmon sushi we ordered haha. The flounder was delicious too, and so was the salmon!!

Beef tartare rolls and flame-seared wagyu nigiri
My husband and I are actually big meat people, so when it went by on the belt, we grabbed it haha. It's a mountain of beef tartare, piled like a hill of meat lol. There's rice underneath but it's totally buried lol. The beef tartare sushi and the lightly flame-seared wagyu nigiri at Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station were secretly so good! ❤️ The moment it hit my mouth, that smoky char smell spread through and the melt-in-your-mouth texture was pure art!

And my absolute favorite cut of raw fish! Flounder fin! This one comes 1 piece per plate, so I ordered 2 plates and they stacked them together and brought them out at once lol.

Figuring this was the last round, we went all in with one big order!! We ordered 3 salmon and 2 flounder, and they made it all up nicely and brought it out at once~ The salmon was seriously so good!! haha

20 plates for two: what did the bill come to?
In the end, my husband and I ate until we were stuffed and walked out having polished off a full 20 plates! 😆 Eating that much and still coming out under ₩40,000... it was truly touching. ❤️

Of course you can't compare it to a high-end omakase, but among conveyor-belt sushi places at this price point, I think this one definitely ranks among the best. 👍 If you're craving satisfying, delicious sushi that's also great value, be sure to stop by Sushi Ian N near Seolleung Station! 😊
