I heard Lian Hair Myeongji University Branch 2 is a go-to spot for down perms and volume magic straightening, so I brought my boyfriend along. He'd gotten a side-hair down perm before and had just been growing it out since, so it was looking a bit messy

They offered a drink too — since it was hot out, we asked for cold water. They gave us ice water and cookies

Senior designer Yumin at Lian Hair Myeongji University Branch 2 took charge, and after a one-on-one consultation decided volume magic straightening was exactly right for him. First she applied the perm solution and did the volume magic straightening

Then, right after, she moved on to the down perm on the lower and side hair, finishing off with trendy styling. It was impressive how sincerely each staff member approached their work

The result, and what stood out most

He loved the clean after photo and said he'd come back next time. What I liked best was that instead of over-diagnosing or pushing unnecessary treatments, they simply recommended styling suited to his actual hair condition!

After finishing, she said that looking good right after the salon is important (of course it looks good — salons make everything look good haha) but it also needs to be easy to manage at home yourself, and she taught us how to style it

Apparently Lian Hair runs ongoing training from headquarters, so they have solid technical skill (very trustworthy indeed). And especially senior designer Yumin — five stars from me
